Staff was fabulous. Easy parking. Very near Vallon Pont d'Arc. Excellent restaurant.

More counter space in the bathroom would be nice.

Great location very near the river and arch. Lovely large balcony with hot tub and view of mountains. Large room and huge bathroom. Customer service was very good. Our coffee maker was missing and we were being a bit ‘British’ and just moaning under our breath. When we did mention it the manager was mortified and replaced it immediately. Lovely view from the restaurant and good food. Good continental breakfast and lovely coffee.

This hotel was in a lovely location in the Gorges de l'Ardennes. The facilities and staff were great. Breakfast was very good.

I was there late in the season and the restaurant wasn't open. That wasn't immediately apparent from the listing.

The place, hotel and staff

One of the best locations in the Ardeche (practically next door to the Pont D'arc), yet considering it is in a very steep gorge the hotel manages to find space for a large car park, bike storage (we brought our bikes with us), an outdoor pool and deck, and an outdoor restaurant! Lots of the guests were either cycling or kayaking and Hotel Belvedere is perfectly placed for both - kayak hire was just across the road. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (excellent English spoken at reception); our room was small but well equipped (air conditioning was essential even in September), and with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The hotel restaurant served the nicest food we ate on our trip - the chef does a fantastic job - served on a lovely terrace surrounded by bamboo plants. Breakfast (charged extra) was served in the indoor conservatory restaurant that overlooks the river. We stayed for three nights and were very happy with our choice!

Hard to fault! The only thing I would like to have seen was tea/coffee making facilities in the room (but maybe that's just me being very British!!).

The location of this hotel 10 minutes walk from a stony beach on the Ardeche makes it very useful. The pool was nice and we had good breakfasts and an evening meal. The location allowed us to explore the stunning region.

The room was smaller than we imagined and could benefit from a little decoration refresh.

The pool was so lovely. And cooling. Staff brought drinks to the pool side with smiles. The Chef and restaurant there is out of this world extraordinary. Superb food. Loved the air con in rooms. Very helpful English speaking staff.

this hotel is in a great location , the restaurant was very good , we chose our room because it had a hot tub which was lovely . there was also onsite parking

Hotel Belvedere has an excellent location if you want to stay close to the river and the Pont d’Arc. The employees are friendly, lots of parking space, a pool (although I advise to swim in the river if you are staying there anyway). A good breakfast and a busy restaurant with nice views from the terrace (although we did not eat in the restaurant ourselves).

The rooms are a bit small (but this was not unexpected as it was in the description before we booked).

Very well positioned close to the Pont D'Arc. was much closer than we expected. Evening meal was also very good. Room was a good size and comfortable.

The hotel was a little dated in parts and a sheet had a small black on it mark although it was clean as was the rest of the room.

It was lovely, our bedroom and bathroom was a bit old fashioned but we didn’t go to spend time in there.

Location, near the Gorge. We received an upgrade on arrival.

No dinner available on arrival (Tuesday’s) along with difficulty finding anywhere local to eat in the evening.

Restaurant was not so good to be honest. Small choice menu and even then not all menu items were available. Food not so bad. Staff super nice.

Only the little badroom with a shower curtian. But the large balkony makes up for that.

The beds were really bad and hard. There was a jacuzzi promised but not received .. Also no compensation
