Room was spacious. Water pressure in shower was horrible. The hallway carpet was very dirty and elevator floor was very dirty. Front desk clerks were very kind. The breakfast was nice and services great. The hotel needs some serious updating.

I don't normally write reviews but after my stay at Wingate, I wanted to share about a wonderful experience! We arrived late (3:30am) and our reservation had been automatically canceled. The person at the desk quickly took care of it though and got us situated. The room was clean and spacious. We were in town because our daughter had a baby. I work from home and had meetings so I asked if we could work in the breakfast area after they were done serving and they said absolutely. They were very kind and accommodating! All of the staff were polite and friendly. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting our daughter!

We satyed in town where we wanted to be. The price was reasonable, the room spacious and location perfect by being near a variety of restaurants.

Great experience. The property would benefit from some updating (peeling wallpaper, newer furniture, decor) but otherwise pleasantly surprised based on previous reviews. Clean (LOVE the LVP flooring in the rooms!) and staff was very pleasant.

I have had better. There for 5 nights linen never changed. Breakfast was nice. Easy access to highway and restaurants. Business center computer did not work.

Large suite. Big dresser with mirror that my wife used extensively. Large clean bathroom. Best large TV. Bed was especially comfortable. Great breakfast. This place was as good as, or better, than Hampton, for much, much less money.

When I got to my room at 11pm at night after checking in I got to my room and my door was unlocked and propped open. I already sent a message about this. It was unsettling as a female traveler. Never got a response to my original message a couple days ago

Room had mold growing up the wall in the bathroom. Mattress was old and saggy. Outside security lights for parking lot showed through window that had an ineffective blackout shade which made the room be anything but dark during the night. Shower soap dispenser in shower was emptied after the first shower. No decent outlets or usb ports by bedside to plug in devices. Phone in suite kept flashing a light that there was a message so we eventually unplugged it. Dirty cleaning rag left on counter in room by housekeeping. All in all, it was the worst night sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel.
The two good things were the HVAC was quiet and efficient and the breakfast was better than a continental breakfast.

Odd smells in entrance and stairwells. Workout room has mildew and leaky ceiling damage. Dirty stairs carpet. Fix those and will definitely highly recommend it otherwise.

Pull out sofa was busted, the chairs and couch were severely stained and nasty. Sheets were stained. Breakfast was cold and gross. Never again..

It was decent for the price. Our key card didnt work each night when we would return back, and had to keep returning to the desk to reactivate it.

This hotel is great - very clean and reasonable prices. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful. This is unusual, however, as the staff has always been great during our other stays.

Nice stay; no nonsense hotel. We've stayed there when it had another brand. Property could be updated a bit and it was a bit musty, but overall, a really nice stay.

We had a lovely suite which actually had a door to close the large bedroom. Lots of grassy areas for dog walking. Super nice breakfast room and front desk staff. Breakfast just average. Pool very clean. Loved our stay

This is a great hotel, it was clean and well run. It did show a few signs of wear but nothing bad. I have made a mental note to stay here whenever I am in the Youngstown area.

Filthy if we hadn’t gotten there so late after a long drive we would not of stayed. I felt like I had to wear slippers to walk on the floor. I would not use the shower so I washed in the bathroom sink.

This is the worst hotel stay I have had. The room smelled - generally bad and someone had definitely smoked there. It was hot and the a/c wasn’t fully functioning. It was dirty - hair in the sink, on the floors, etc. furniture was old, stained, the couch and chairs were unusable. The desk agent was very nice but could do nothing & the manager doesn’t work weekends and was not reachable. My brother’s room was also dirty and smelly, so this was clearly a broader issue. I left feedback for the manager but have not been contacted and have not been refunded for this horrific experience.

What i didnt like was the breakfast. Something they should work on. It was not appetizing. Biscuits were hard, muffins were dry, bagels were crumbly.
Check in went great. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.
I would stay there again.

My family stayed here for an overnight during a car trip. It got the job done. Facilities were nothing fancy but our suite was comfortable and clean. Staff really made an effort to be friendly and helpful considering how busy the hotel was the night we stayed there.
