Lovely hosts! beautiful apartment and super comfortable

The owner was constantly around us questioning what we are doing, nosing around. The laundry was constantly locked and was unable to wash clothes, when I managed to use the machine I was questioned by the property owner. We were even charged for the air conditioner usage and the wash machine usage . This was very unfair as the property was advertised with these facilities. Wouldn’t recommend this property to no one .

Amazing views from the room!

The room looked little tired. Pillows were really uncomfortable, so I actually had to bring my own pillow from car (luckily we had one as we were roadtripping around Europe). The balcony was very very small in our room, basically could fit two chairs only. We were hoping to have a nice meal with the amazing view but it was possible due to too little space on the balcony.

A rather nice and spacious apartment to stay with kids.

Hot water was more off than on, which presented challenges as we were staying with two young kids.

the apartment is ok. we didn’t use the jacuzzi - no one told us how or can we use it. but I saw some other guests using it. you can come there with dog.

the bathroom was rather small. for the dog finally we didn’t pay any extra fee. however, it was marked that if the host finds the apartment dirty (which she happily didn’t), she can charge additional 10 euros for one hour of cleaning. we finally didn’t pay anything additionally but it was a bit unusual.

Everything..there is nothing not to like. Clean, well equipped, beautiful location, peaceful. Mrs Frlan is wonderful, dropped us off to the beach and a local restaurant of an evening. The hot tub and view from our balcony was breathtaking. We will be back for sure.

Nothing...I would say a car would be a recommendation. Always managed to get a taxi eventually..but it is located out the way.

We had a wonderful stay even though the weather was terrible. It was a great apartment to bunker down and watch the storms!

Amasing view, relaxation in the communal jacuzzi, from the garden very confortable bed, many blankets and pillows available, idilic garden, nice terrasse with outdoor furniture, Euro accepted, I got the exact rest

The place is not so large as I had the impresion from the picture. The kitchen is small but had all I needed. Cooking fries on the induction plate was not a good ideea

The best accommodation I found on booking.com so far, the host was really nice, the apartment was fully equipped and really spacious. The jacuzzi with a sea view is just a cherry on top!

- beautiful house in the hills with tremendous view over the bay and lovely, well-kept garden - perfectly clean, serene rooms in white and wood - well equipped kitchen with every we needed - host speaks German and Italian very well and was overall welcoming an lovely - be aware that the house is located in a very hilly area with steap slopes, one needs a car/ bikes and muscles to get around

- mosquito nets on the windows would be great, at least for the bathroom

We loved our stay in Kastav! The hosts were very friendly and the apartment was spacious and clean. There was a beautiful view from the terrace. The hottub was pleasant. Location close to Rijeka.

The location was perfect. The host was perfect. We are making plans to return for a month long stay.
