Profitez de vacances classiques en Nouvelle-Angleterre dans cette maison directement située au bord du lac Harwinton Détendez-vous et profitez des beaux paysages et des brises sur cette communauté lac tranquille. Pendant les mois d'été, nagez directement depuis l'arrière-cour, ou si vous préférez avoir de la compagnie, une promenade d'une minute vous amènera à la plage communautaire partagée. Notre maison est directement sur l'eau avec une cour spacieuse pour barbecue (barbecue à gaz Ducane), bain de soleil (chaises longues fournies), natation, kayak (kayak une et deux personnes fourni), pêche (lac est rempli de truites), ou faire une sieste dans le hamac pour 2. Léger et lumineux avec des fenêtres mur à mur donnant sur l'eau et une cheminée à bois confortable pour les soirées romantiques. Hiver: patin à glace, pêche sur glace, domaine skiable à proximité. Services: air climatisé central / chauffage, appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, laveuse et sécheuse, TV à écran plat, draps et serviettes fournis. Pas de bateaux à essence bruyants autorisés, seulement canoë, kayak ou ponton électrique. Beaucoup de restaurants, antiquités, sentiers de vin, golf, tubes de rivière, Warner Theatre pour les spectacles, et Mohegan Sun et Foxwood Casinos sont à une heure de route. Deux lits Queen, un canapé-lit Queen. Occupation maximale 4 personnes. Nous sommes une propriété qui accepte les animaux.

It was a sweet little place, getting the boats in and out of the water was a bit of a challenge, but we enjoyed a paddle to the sandy beach to swim every morning. Loved the ladder-ball and the fire pit.

This Lake Home has ALL the comforts of being home that comes with great views of the lake. So beautiful inside. Nice grassy back yard with fire pit, picnic tables, chairs to relax and listen to birds, frogs and just be amaze with the views. Very relaxing sitting or eating on the back deck looking at the lake. We did kayaking, swimming & fishing.(lots of fish in this lake!) Paul & Ella are great hosts that responds to all questions in very short time. This is one of those places that you will return again. Thank you Paul & Ella for sharing this beautiful Lake home.

This was our second two week stay at the lake house. We love kayaking and swimming on the lake. Sitting on the deck watching the wildlife is very relaxing. Our grandchildren visited us daily and also love the house, yard and lake. Thank you for a great two weeks.

My partner, our dog Toro, and I spent the weekend in this house. It is perfect for two and well-equipped for anything you want to do at the lake. We were there mid-May, and it was still too cold to get in the water. Our dog loved the backyard, but we didn't see any neighbors. A few OK options nearby to eat or DoorDash.

Cottage on a he lake was lovely with great water views. We didn’t get to take complete advantage due to Connecticut spring weather but highly recommend!
Only recommendation is too upgrade the bath towels.

We had a pleasant stay. The fire pit by the water let us have a couple of pleasant outdoor evenings on cool nights. Very pet friendly with a nice big yard for the dog. 😊

Positives, Good Owner response, home is well appointed.
Negatives, this was a rental and I do not expect to find sheets left out to make the bed, I paid to use the house and do not want to call the owner if I choose to adjust the heat. On Check Out Sheet, it was suggested that the bedding, towels and laundry be started prior to leaving. We have rented numerous homes, have a great rating and have never encountered these issues.

This charming lakefront cottage on Lake Harwinton was perfect for our getaway weekend. Lots of room for the 2 of us and our dog. The cottage was super-clean and comfy, with lovely views of the lake; the interior decor was delightful. The house was stocked with everything you could think of. It was an easy drive to local grocery and dining. The Lake Harwinton area was quiet with lakefront cottages and it was a comfortable 1-2 mile walk on the road around the lake. Rainy weather prevented us from making use of the kayaks, deck and grill, but we still had a great time. We would love to return!

My cousin and I stayed at this charming cottage on the lake for a girl's weekend visiting three wineries on the CT Wine Trail. It was the perfect location to get to them all easily. The house itself was wonderful, very homey. Loved the warm furniture, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and of course the lake views/access was the absolute BEST part. Gorgeous views from the house and only steps to the lakefront from the deck. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect. Cozy and the view of the lake was spectacular. Very easy to get out and kayak. The property manager was very responsive. It is very quiet there. I hope to stay again.

It was the first anniversary of my brother in law's passing and I wanted to do something special for my sister. I flew from Seattle to spent the week with her and we stayed in this lovely home.
The view was amazing. Frequently, we would just sit and quietly watch nature on the lake, children fishing off the little bridge across the way...

The hosts have taken the house down to the studs and remodeled it in 2014 and beyond. It is in very good shape with everything you would want in a vacation home. The lake is beautiful.

We just returned from a very relaxing stay at Harwinton Lake. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed during our visit. We enjoyed sitting by the lake on cool, crisp fall days, taking in the views and the wildlife. The location was perfect. We took several walks around the lake and also visited parks in the vicinity. The property owners were terrific and quickly responded to any requests during our stay. Many thanks for a fantastic trip.
