This used to be a Holiday Inn for decades. It's been refurbished and nice. Clean, large place, pool, decent free breakfast, lots of parking. Only odd thing for a hotel was there was no daily room service. If you wanted service you had to ask. No big deal for us, but it may be to you. And the price was less than most of the comparable hotels in Kingston.

The hotel is run down. Our first room had hair in the bed and the second room had no shower curtain (this was addressed quickly) and water/mold damage on the ceiling. People were friendly and helpful, but you can't overlook the quality of the room. especially at the price. Glad we only had to stay one night. I would never recommend, and I will never return.

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The hotel is very dated and could use better amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Its was good for sleeping but felt old and really strong smell of cleaning and the breakfast was poor.

Customer service oriented staff. Bethroom inour room was tiny. Toilet was low. Would be difficult for anyone with mobility or obesity issues.
TV had a lot of channels but this type of system does not turn onTV easily. Even with new batteries.
Outside grounds were not being kept up. Lots of weeds in landscape beds.

Place has a mice infestation, we moved rooms after the first night bc we saw a mouse and then saw 2 more mice in other rooms!!!

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting the Dutchess County Fair. Very nice place that needs upgrades. Cute pool and game area. Pool is like a sauna, but AC makes it cold when you exit pool. Not all games are operable (play at your own risk. Delicious food, nice ambiance.

The front desk was helpful in getting us situated after arriving late in the evening. However, the room keys didnt work two separate times - requiring us to walk to and from the front desk to our room twice. The building itself is older - but with that it means that while the room itself was tidy, it was run down and smelled heavily of mildew. We felt that for the price charged it was not good value, unfortunately. Free breakfast in the morning was hot and decent -- but overall, we hope the price offered is more affordable for this type of motel.

The manager on duty at check in was exceptional. I was not pleased with the original room and he changed it readily to a mor acceptable one.

All in all, we enjoyed a good stay. The hotel was full of guests and high energy. The staff who assisted us were helpful and courteous.
But it did seem like the hotel had a very thin staff. It would also be nice to have the option of herbal teas and fresher fruits.

Parking was very easy. Ac was very good. Wi-Fi was so so. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and sausage. The rooms are old and seem worn. Our smoke alarm went off for no reason. The staff quickly removed it.

Property was dark and dated. In my room, toilet didn't flush. When I went to call the front desk, there was no phone in the room. Seriously. I walked to the front desk & they immediately changed my room which was good. When I went to check out, I had no bill under the door & they almost billed someone else's credit card. Clearly, they didn't change me over to the new room in the system. Breakfast wasn't bad.

Very comfortable room, nice gym and pool. Nice place for families to fit and kids to have space. Do not go for the gameroom. NONE of the games worked and the machines just ate your money. Front desk is so used to complaints they just give the money back. Was a bit disappointed because my kids were looking forward to the game room.

They forgot to tell us that rooms are not cleaned unless you request, so we arrived back after a day of traveling and found room not cleaned and no clean towels. Management sent clean towels right away and admitted mistake.

This hotel has a nice enough lobby (bar and food available, modern furniture and decent lighting). The room hallways, though, are dark and uninviting. The smell of chlorine from the pool is INTENSE. Staff were friendly but the floor layout is inconvenient. The room was clean and slightly above average. Free breakfast was average. Nothing to write home about…don’t pay $400/night for this.

Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, convenient bar and restaurant, nice pool and workout room, close to rail trails for biking, close to Old Town Kingston for shopping and heritage buildings and good, if not fancy rooms with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. I would stay there again or recommend it.

The bathroom light did not work, one of the lights in the room flickered constantly, there were deep gouges in the walls, broken tile in the bathroom, and human hair on the floor of the bathroom. There was also a pronounced smell to the room and the entire carpet was damp. Needless to say, I will never be staying in that hotel again, and will likely avoid Best Western all together

token machine was broken, arcade games were iffy and vending machine was out of soda. But we still had a great time in the pool and the breakfast was great and the rooms comfy and clean. Didn't know how to turn on fan in bathroom.Love the courtyard!

I really like this hotel because it offers many amenities to those traveling with children. The indoor pool is open until 10 pm, there's a little arcade and there is also a spacious hotel bar. Restaurant was not great and overpriced, but the service was excellent. It is in a location that is close to The Stockade district where there are many great restaurants, and the best Kingston nightlife. I will definitely stay here again.
