It was so noisy. We couldn’t even sleep because of the traffic on the freeway was very loud. Also and we are pet people although we did not have our pets with us and it is a very pet friendly hotel, which is good. The problem is we listened to the little dog next-door wine on and off all night. There also was no dresser to put any of your things away in if you wanted to and no hangers in the room either. The price was very reasonable so honestly, I guess you get what you pay for. It was just was disappointing because the pictures that the property showed online were not of the hotel that we checked into. Unfortunately it was too late. Once we got there we kind of were stuck and had to stay at the place, also when we told them that we did not want our room cleaned or anybody entering our room, they told us that they could not do that and that they needed to enter the room every day even though we told them we don’t need housekeeping. It was pretty clean and thank goodness there was no carpet. It was tiled floors.

Other than the requirement to have mandatory room service daily the stay wasnt terrible. The maids are extremely rude though and will make up lies to get a manager to come and force you out of your room so they can clean. I was being told that the room was difficult for the maid due to having two phone chargers pluged in being in the way and that we were in the way of moping while sitting on the bed. I was being yelled at to leave the room which i stood my ground and refused because i am not comfortable leaving my personal belongings in a room with someone while im not there. If i just stayed one night and didnt encounter the staff id have actually enjoyed my stay. This is not a place youd want to book multiple nights as you will be bothered every morning with being forced to leave and if youre not there be comfortable with staff going in there whenever they want.

Easy access off the freeway

Room was nice but parking sucks. I almost feel in shower since there is no handle bar, & floor was slippery in the shower,no soap dish,no iron

I stay weekly here due to work. I stayed at two other local locations of Motel 6 and they’re ok. But not as clean, managed, overall less favorable than FV location. I’m again regular due to my hybrid work schedule and live 250 away. Only time I don’t stay at FV Motel 6 is when the price is significantly more than the two other locations nearby. One of the other locations is very rough area with homeless encampments nearby. This location is great. Safe clean very dog friendly. Basically feels like a secondary home. Stafff is very pleasant and very accommodating. This location has a requirement of cleaning the rooms daily. This is great as it keeps the questionable away. Other local locations do not clean daily and it shows. Questionable people are much more common. Fountain Valley Motel 6 is great.

Stay here while working the county fair. The room was great as always. Just a few minor problems 1 The shower (the tub knob that changes to shower sticks and you get less water from the shower and its slow on warming up. 2 Truck parking blocking you in. The corner by the pet area has a small problem if you get there early, sometimes a truck will end up blocking you in (not enough room to get out). Need to have trucks park down a little farther down away from blocking people in. 3 I love that the old skate rink (next door) is doing so great but the cars doing donuts in the circle is dangerous. After a number of calls, the next night there were 5 patrol cars out there just to make sure it didn't happen again after midnight. (Thank You FVPD). 4 FYI: The motel does sit against the freeway and its can be loud with the traffic (ear plugs are provided) but I found that the light come from the window shades, so I bring a sleep mask with me, I get the best night sleep. 5 The staff is the best, thank them when you stay.

It is all good except wet surfaces. They should use somethings to prevent slide down.

I realize now that I was criminally mistreated by all, but maids especially because I hadn't tipped them and they will unleash blind female rage if you don't catch on & tip them in the name of all that is Holy.

Did not check in ... Motel 6 , fountain valley, does not accept temp id from the DMV, u know the piece of paper the DMV gives every one that applies for a new id? I get robbed, entire wallet, well My Everything was stolen, I felt bad enough after being robbed then waiting a DMV for 3 and a half hours to replace the id, the application, next window, the pic being taken next window.. we all know the routine then motel 6, fountain valley, has to punish me again and, I didn't think this was possible, MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I WAS the Criminal, for having the nerve to B the SURVIVOR of a Messed Up CRIME ! Thanks Motel 6, Fountain Valley, NEVER EVER AGAIN for any reason... Oh and then as if that was not enough b.s. for 1 person to contend with hotels.com threw the cherry on top.. HOW ? They will not Refund the $ I paid for the room ... What little self esteem I had left was lobbed off at that moment ... So ... Deleting the hotels.com app blocking motel 6, fountain valley, out of my mind and Life once and for all ... This could happen to absolutely anyone... Maybe even U, next time...

No shampoo provided and had to ask for toilet paper. Wish maid would come later and not knock at 10:30.

Housekeeping and front desk was kind and spectacular. Good value for the price. Lots of places around to entertain.

PLEASE be aware that this motel sits right next to the highway. You can hear semi trucks so loud it's as if they were right next to you-- because they are. My fiancé and I are both heavy sleepers and got absolutely no sleep in this room due to the constant noise. We also requested a room change 3 times and each time were told to "come back at a different time". The staff were dishonest and unwilling to help. You'd be better off paying the same amount for a much quieter stay anywhere else.

Room was perfect for a 2 night stay! Desk staff was nice and friendly even during night check in. Felt safe and room was quite even though there were many people walking in and out from their rooms and being next to the highway. Would certainly book here again.

You just get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less, except for the packed parking at night where you have to park on a nearby establishment and wake up early to transfer it back.

Very clean, central to a lot of things but the freeway is right next to it and a little loud. Room was clean, linens were nice and bed was comfy. Biggest complaint was the people who stayed when we were there. People didn't respect the non smoking/smoking areas and people didn't keep their dogs quiet

Horrendous. The maid service arrived daily from 10:20 a.m to 3:30p.m Although I was paid up til Thursday, I was made to leave quite rudely on Sunday morning while they insisted on keeping all of my money after already keeping 1 of my 2 total $50 deposits & charging me $30 for towels they claimed were ruined. They tried to extort another $250 before I was thrown out for ruining a mattress that was good enough for us to use our last night. On Saturday, yesterday, I waited until 3 p.m for the cleaning ladies to arrive before leaving to run errands. I wanted to be present because I could sense at least one of the women's bad intentions. By 3 I couldn't wait any longer & when I returned they had my sister outside with the door blocked for 45 minutes only to point out a tiny hole in a sheet. The trash hadn't been emptied, they were there solely to make false accusations. I don't like to complain & I really show respect to everyone one I encounter. I am now out hundreds of dollars with no where to stay at the moment. I am disillusioned with the hostility & constant money shakedowns as well as the large amount that they kept from me & the mean spirited way I was thrown out & discarded.

The bathroom door had a big piece almost broken off on the bottom and it wouldn't close Right next to a skating center. No in room coffee. Right next to a major freeway. They do provide ear plugs. Tommy Burgers snd Starbucks are close by.No shampoo or conditioner. Small bath towels..

Good price, clean and comfortable. No shampoo provided (California probably), noise by freeway. I can sleep through anything but be aware if you can't

For the price, this was a nice stay. Very clean with good security. I would stay here again.

They require a daily cleaning if staying a few days or longer (can’t remember the exact amount of days) but the thing is, you have to leave the room during this time. That’s crazy I’m paying to stay in a room and it’s mandatory to leave the room I’m paying for, for their required cleaning. Me and my children will never stay here again.

This property is what you would expect from a 2 Star hotel/motel. The price was right and the conditions were appropriate. It's well located. It was great for pets and quiet at night (the guests were quiet). The road noise is substantial but tolerable for this traveler.
