Value for money! I was a bit disappointed to see no eggs or sausages or any kind of protein component in the complimentary breakfast, but other than that, for what I paid and the room I got , no complaints. Will gladly stay here again

Motel was ok. Room did not get much detailed cleaning. Couch cushions were dirty, and under them looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite sometime. towels were stained.

Expedia an super 8 took my money an never let me check in. I came at 4 am I was driving all night with my kids and they took my money wouldn’t give me a room an then sent me to another hotel an here I am trying to get my money from Expedia because I canceled one hour after reservation an neither place will give me my 115$ back the whole reason I use Expedia is because I’m a single mom trying to save money yet they scammed me out of 115$ an I had no choice but to go get a room even more $ this is wrong an I have googled Expedia # I can’t find a 1800 # an I also tried to chat with the AI bit an it gives u certain topics to choose from an when I requested a agent it disabled my keyboard to keep asking questions??? This is wrong !

Josh at the front desk was so easy to work with about our reservation. Breakfast was hot and the staff kept everything clean and filled. We spent 3 days there and will be back again next summer

The floor in the bathroom needs mopping, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly, it’s in a very safe area, and convenient to restaurant across the street, we want to come back in the fall and travel on the train ride again, and will stay here again.

We always have trouble finding a comfortable bed the bed there was like being at home good quality matress & bedding. The friendly people you meet & talk with staying there at the hotel enjoying free continental breakfast from all different states & areas was exceptionally enjoyable. Wonderful staff & customers make this our top destination when in the Elkins Wv area!!!

Our room was clean. It appeared nice and tidy. Bed clothes were clean with several layers available or your comfort level. Nice sized refrigerator. All amenities mentioned on the website were provided, as well as a swivel chair at the desk. Only one thing would have made the stay perfect, and that would be the addition ofan arm chair.

We chose this hotel due to its locality. The hotel is situated a little out of the main town which was perfect for us. Considering that the hotel was fully booked, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

The staff are friendly accommodating & helpful if needed.Rooms are clean & bright & sized well. The location to the Gandy Dancer Theater is a plus,buffet steak house across the street & stores restaurants & downtown Elkins events all within 2-3 miles!!

Housekeeper was RUDE when I was checking in early. I’m a travel nurse and the front desk has always been friendly with letting me check in early if there is a room available. I work nightshift and understand that rooms might not be available when I get off work. I’ve never had any staff be rude to me when I ask if it’s ok. This woman (who was not checking me in and just sitting behind the counter) was very hateful and unprofessional. I was not even speaking with her and she chimed in being very hateful. I appreciate the man who checked me in, he has always been super kind and helpful. I will not stay at this hotel anymore because she made me feel like a burden for just wanting to sleep after a very hard 12 hour shift. Every other front desk staff member has always been very helpful and kind. This was just very odd putting and I hope she doesn’t treat any other travel workers as she did me.

For the amount of money being charged per night I expected a whole lot more. There for business. Breakfast room was filled with workers that didn't leave to give others a chance to eat. The same food both days. Outdated. no elevator if needed. Seems more about a profit then the customer. Not likely to ever stay again.

The first room was a little "musty", so the manager gave me another room and it was perfect. The staff was excellent.

The room was great, but this is directed at the woman behind the counter at check in. We had driven about 30 mountain miles with the check engine light on, and asked her if she knew any mechanics in the area. She gave us a name and number and the next morning we were on our way, in a little less than 2 hours! Thank you so much!!!

Cons: older, could use a refresh. Room could've been cleaner, not sure how often rooms are aired out, but there was a mildewy smell, an open window cleared it out.
