The hotel was disgusting. The paint was pilling off of the walls. The shower head would not correctly. The breakfast was nasty. The room had a foul smell. Whenever I ask for towels, they told me that they would have to bring them up later because housekeeping had used them all. I honestly have nothing good to say about the hotel. I wish I could get a refund. My wife also noticed the Person at the front giving information to someone about a guest that was staying at the hotel.

The service/check-in was good and fast. The room was clean. It is an older hotel and could use a remodel but it was clean and was a good price point for a 2 night stay.

Great hotel & clean rooms.

Pros: The staff is super kind and professional. The continental breakfast is great. They have a station outside to for pet poop clean up and disposal. The room was clean and comfortable. The pet fee was reasonable--$35/night. The most impressive room service menu I have ever seen. Cons: We ended up staying in the Extended Stay vs the actual hotel. The luggage carts are old & rickety & need upgrading. The handicap parking was really far from the door. There is a smell when you get into building at the elevator--like air freshener trying to cover up sulfur. Our room smelled like pizza rolls. There was no water in the vending machine. It wasn't out of water. Water wasn't an option. Just soda and sports drinks. When I went to use the tap, the water wouldn't get cold. It was hot & luke warm. When I took my dog out in the morning, I saw 4 men traverse the parking lot, 3 looked a bit suspect. And later when we were heading out for dinner, we saw a man walking through the parking lot get descended upon by two police vehicles. I get there's always a risk parking at a hotel, but I've never seen it walk through the parking lot or get arrested when he appeared to be minding his own business. My frustration is I spent over $400 for 2 nights here. To me that's a lot for a smelly room, no easily accessible water, distanced from the front desk and the breakfast area because we're in a different building, and clearly more foot traffic through the property than the average establishment.

They were very friendly and accomadating during check in. Had a little mishap but the issue was resolved right away. When checking out again they were very friendly

Definitely needs to be renovated. Comfortable bed. The extended stay building smelled musty. The toiletries in our room had been used. Great location.

A nice room for the price. The building is showing a little wear, but it was very clean and smelled nice. The bathroom maybe could’ve used a little more attention (hair clog was gross) but otherwise, great service and a good price.

I have stayed with Ashmore Inn & Suites many times in Lbk, but this one stay was not enjoyable. The Direct TV was not working. Call the front desk and was told it was due to weather. (There was no bad weather in the area) then got up in the morning to have a cup of coffee and the coffee pot did not work. The smell in the hallway was awful (moldy maybe) On a good note the check in was great and the gentleman checking me in was very respectful. I will try again, just kinda disappointed this time

Although it’s an older hotel, it was super clean and comfy. Off the main road some so it’s quiet. Loved the suite- plenty of room to relax and take a break

Ashmore has always been our go to place when in Lubbock. This time we checked in to our classic suite and the ac was off when we walked in. Ridiculously hot! Turned on both airconditioners and the one in the bedroom would not cool down. Asked to change rooms and were told there were no more suites available so we contiplated what to do. Knew we couldn't sleep like that so I told them we didn't care, just need a working ac. Front desk staff agreed but seemed put out. Moved us to the complete opposite corner and floor but we thought they must know that ac is good. No! Woke up at 2am sweating! It would quit working in the middle of the night and wasn't great when it worked. Since we had already moved I didn't want to be those people that keep complaining so we toughed it out for 2 nights. It sucks tho cuz we'll think twice before staying there again.

I know that food cost have really gone up and all places are limiting their offerings but the waffle maker should still be kept clean and the gravy doesn’t need to be boiling hot 😕.

Clean, comfortable, older hotel. Some wear and tear on the property but what do you expect from an older property? It was decently priced, the room was comfortable, and everything was meticulously clean. I would definitely stay there again when coming to Lubbock.

The room was very clean, good water pressure in the shower and the bed was comfortable. This place was affordable too compared to other hotels. It is convenient to be in walking distance to restaurants and a Walmart. Quiet location.

We were upgraded to a suite. It's an older hotel, but our bed was comfy, the room was clean and the location was private/quiet. It's right next to wal mart! We would stay again.

Housecleaning staff especially noted for being so courteous and helpful. I could never find which way the lobby was and they always pointed me in the right direction, always had a smile and a greeting.

It was in a good location, and the hotel was very quiet. Good breakfast.

I was not able to watch tv. I was able to turn it on and the screen reflected HDMI 3. I could not change the channel, use any of the use other buttons other than the volume button.
