Room was clean and did not smell like other dogs were in the room. Parking lot is lit up very good to deter crooks from stealing your belongings out of your boat.

The air conditioning continued to turn on and off throughout the night making it impossible for us to sleep. The facility has been well used and needs new carpets and room updates.

As soon as we pulled into parking lot we saw the online photos did not match reality. Crumbling exterior. Peeling rotten wood. Checked in since we'd already checked other hotel had no vacancy. Checkin guy was weird and asked me 4 times to verify the length of our stay which had been already booked and paid via hotels.com. Very dimly lit inside. Room seemed clean, beds comfortable. Hotel is smoke free, but room smelled badly of damp and smoke. Stayed 4 days and maid never stepped inside or replenished towels or sheets. Interior trim is dirty, worn, shoddy. At dark the exterior light blasted thru the blackout curtains and room was bright like 2p in afternoon. Had to stop by nearby stores to buy duct tape for curtains, air fresheners, and eyemasks to sleep 2nd night. Pool and whirlpool nice. Photos online are apparently 10+ years old. Place is decent but needs total refresh. Good location. Basic free hotel breakfast, cereal, toast, muffin, plain bagel, dried eggs, sausage, waffle, yogurt. Offered tea packets but no hot water. No elevator but has 2 stories so beware if thats an issue as it was for us. No shower/bath grab bars. Big free parking lot.

The only complaint I had was we stayed for 6days and there was nothing to put your clothes in besides a small closet with 3 hangers! So 3 of us had to dig through our luggage daily for clothes. Other than that everything else was good!

My online reservation was based on the brand name and facilities available. When pulling up to the building it has a less than appearance to it. Almost of the "shady" nature. But I am one to go in and check it out. The inside is totally different. Good and clean. Helpful . Room was clean, with the exception of the tub, it needs some Goo Gone on the bottom of the tub. I would recommend and return myself. I have been an owner of cabins and understand.

No elevator to the second floor had to carry heavy bags up two flights of stairs other than that the room was nice and clean and cool nice bedding and pillows

The stay was great and the pool, jacuzzi was clean and fun! We enjoyed the early breakfast for the fishermen ! It was a good yet the housekeeper with no teeth could have been more customer friendly she was quite cranky.

The toilet would not flush without having to fix the plunger in the tank. The hotel is dated but very clean. Staff was helpful. The outside of the property could use some landscaping.

Enjoyed the stay, was at Manistee for a Navy reunion. Spent little time at hotel. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was ok but not over the top.

There was a lot of goodness about Baymount, however I do have two comments.
Can you fix the entrance? It's broken down, and so uninviting! Scary.
The 2nd was the pillows on my bed. They smelled bad, smelling of people's dirty heads. Luckily i brought some roomspray.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff, continental breakfast, and cleanliness was great. Building and rooms outdated but not a big problem since they were clean. We would recommend.

Every employee I encountered friendly and helpful. Jen checked us in and our stay was great—clean and neat rooms. Nice well stocked breakfast buffet included—what was not to like?

It was an ok stay. We would have liked a chair and a table to sit at, during our stay. Our room was clean and on the first floor. That helped a lot. We are not feeble but having to go upstairs would not have made our stay comfortable.
We enjoyed the pool and spa tub.
We had a parking spot where we could see our vehicle, but there were other guests parked in front of the door we entered and that was not pleasant.
The staff did a good job of taking of us.

It was a nice place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. However our room door had quite a gap around it that let in a lot of light and noise from the hallway. They didn’t have any extra blankets that we asked for. The pool and hot were clean and nice. The breakfast was hot and fresh they really kept it coming. Overall a very nice stay.
