The Rodeway Inn in Stephenville TX should be removed from your listings. It was so bad we walked in and walked back out. We were able to find another hotel.

Sheets didn't look clean. Found some hairs. Room Smelled of urine. No top lock on door.

Do not let the pictures fool you. There is no pool. It’s filled in with dirt. The place is in complete shambles. There was gum stuck to the side of my bed. The chair in the room has semen and blood on it. There was blood smeared on the wall going up the stairs. The tub was cracked all the way down the middle. The beds smelled like dirty feet and my sister room had beetles in the bed. Our towels were dirty and stained and there weren’t enough for the two of us staying in my room and we had booked for 2 people. The outlets in the room didn’t work. The blow dryer didn’t work. When you plugged in your phone charger, the room lights turned off. The vending and ice machines don’t work. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out them. The place is like a giant hazmat. Not safe to stay in. We left a night early and went somewhere else and didn’t even ask for our money back. We just left because it was so bad.

It was in a good location and the room was clean but it was moldy in the bathroom and the bed was hard and squeaked any time you moved.

Filthy, cricket infested dump. Crickets outside and inside. Wife got stung by a bee coming inside from the car. They don’t know how to use a vacuum cleaner or carpet cleaner. Coffee and sugar in the morning. No creamer, no breakfast, no nothing.

Very bad smell in my room and very dirty. Won’t be back here again

Stephenville is a great little town; however, Rodeway has not been making sure this hotel is being serviced properly. The only positive thing I can say is that I didn't die there.

Place is decent for the price. Its old but clean overall. Pillows are the cheapest that exist they are plastic. But bed was comfortable. Bathroom tub needed painting but good for the price

well , it looked like someone had sat on one of the beds and i refused to sleep on it. woman at desk asked me if i mined changing the sheets because i did not want to move up stairs. so i did. you are to have ability to stay there till 11 but woman was there to clean room before 9 . so make sure you stick out you sign on door. The room was clean. . tv remote need to be replaced.. other than that it was okay.. I do think there should be some kind of heat in the bathroon on cool morning.

This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever stay in! Do not recommend at all!

I've stayed in bad hotels but this is the worst ever. Holes in walls, stains on sheets and bed covers, bugs in dresser drawers and smoke detectors dangling from the ceiling. Tried to get money back but the barefoot guy at the front desk never came to the desk. I decided it was safer to cut my loss sleep in my car.

The convenience of being around everything in town was nice but the room we were in the bathroom light flickered really bad and with my wife’s epilepsy it made it to where we couldn’t use the bathroom light at all.

Made our reservation for the weekend several weeks prior. When we arrived, this hotel said they did not have my reservation and could only offer me an upgraded room at a premium price. After talking to some colleagues at the event we were attending, we were not the only ones they tried this with. Thank you to Hotels.com, they found us other cleaner accommodations in town.

Had to wait to get checked in, exterior door lock didn’t work, no washcloths, no ice available, no coffee in the room and when I went to get some in the lobby, the thermos was empty! The baseboard in the bathroom was pulled away from the wall and the Sheetrock was crumbling, cracks in plaster on the ceiling. Skip this place!

This is BY FAR the worst experience at any "hotel " I've booked online. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed that this was even an option through Expedia. This property is filthy. Sheets, towels, floors and all in room surfaces were sticky. The room smelled like mold. We were in Stephenville for family weekend where our son goes to school. I would have gladly spent teuple to stay ANYWHERE else, but this is a very small town and everything was booked. Three lamps, one lightbulb. Front desk said it would be at least 24 hours before maintenence could "fix our complaint"! No AC on the 2nd floor. Pool filled with dirt. DO NOT STAY HERE! I will be writing the corporate office as well as the health department. We had to clean the entire room before. We also had to go buy blankets and pillows to make the space acceptable to sleep in. Disgusting.

Awful service! Never received an email confirmation of our reservation so no email confirmation no booking right. Well seems like they just went upon themselves to charge our credit card and not send any format of confirmation that we indeed had a booking. Then they declined to give us a waiver ...this place has horrible customer service! Money hungry! Charging peoples accounts without them staying at their place

This hotel was infested with bugs. The bugs were in the rooms, hallways and outside. Also the bedsheets were not in good condition and the towels that they gave us were dingy. If you plan to stay here, I would try a newer hotel in the area.

DO NOT stay here. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. There's crickets all throughout the hotel. On the main level, the hotel doesn't look as bad. There are pieces of wall that have chipped off, and pieces of carpet that are coming up that they haven't fixed, but the downstairs hallway area is immaculate compared to upstairs. Our room was upstairs. Halfway up the stairs it got hot and started to smell. In the hallway area upstairs there is no a/c. They set up an oscillating fan every 50ish feet that was is no way helping. The carpet in the hallway was disgusting. Stains all throughout, looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in years, if ever. Dirt, trash, dead crickets. When we opened the door to the room, there was a stool shortly after walking in with either a poop or blood stain on it. The bed probably hasn't been replaced since 1962. There's no cushion left it, it creaks and sounds like it's going to collapse under you with every move you make. The bedding has burn holes all throughout and various stains. It says they have a pool, they don't. It's been filled in with dirt and concrete, everything about this place on their website is a lie.Every other hotel was full because it was Tarletons graduation weekend. But we could not bring ourselves to sleep there. We ended up booking a hotel 30 miles away just to get out of this one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The bed was hard as a rock. The room has roaches. The ice machine didn't work. The key didn't open the outside door.

Liked nothing about it. Not worth the money.

It was was easy access and available for a fair price however was not pleased with the cleanliness of the facility or the room. There were crickets alive and dead everywhere in the room and hallways. There’s no pool as advertised. There’s no breakfast as advertised. Will choose another facility next time.

This place is about the same level as all the other hotels in this area, even the more pricey ones. If you check in early enough, sometimes you can get a room on bottom floor, which has a door that goes outside. Just make sure your inside door is unlocked because your room key only opens the inside door!

Upon checking in, we were given a key to a room that was not cleaned. Towels were still on the floor and the bed definitely used by someone prior. We received a second key to another room and when we walked in it had a definite aroma of smoke and body odor. When we started to take a bath, there were only two towels for the four of us. There was one pillow on the each bed that was so thin you could almost see through. I returned to the front desk and asked for more pillows, and was informed that they weren’t sure they had any. Finally after waiting over 10 minutes, I was given two pillows that were lumpy and rock hard. My daughter went to the front to get more towels and the wash rags that we were given were stained and nasty. I felt that the room should have been cleaned better overall. Also, the pool is filled in with dirt and there are weeds growing on the dirt. Walking down the hall l, the carpet is stained and has not been cleaned. Overall this was the worst!!

The property looked good in Expedia, Expedia is only the middle entity so nothing on Expedia but this property. As soon as we came in to the hallway is was dirty and unkept. When we open our room is smelled like an old home. Roaches were crawling around the dresser drawers and floor. I booked this room for three days but I asked for refund after first night. Expedia was very helpful and returned my money within days. Do not stay in this hotel only to save money, your health means more than money.

The floors were dirty. The halls smelled terribly. The phone was broke. All the ice machines wer broke. The beds were uncomfortable . The people were rarely at front desk. Only 1 towel, one facecloth and hand towel for 2 people. Overall bad experience

PRICE WAS GOOD.

Didn't like anything about it! One of the worst motels I have stayed in. The card key did not work on the exterior door! The bathroom sink was about to fall off the wall, only the pipes were holding it up. Said breakfast was included but none that I saw. Room numbers were not easily visible from the outside. Sound proofing was terrible from both hallway noise, adjacent room noise and road noise

Only option for a last minute need. Stained carpet, room sofa. Old & worn furniture. Bed passable. 3 flat as a pancake pillows. Bathtub coating peeling. One hand towel with hair! One washcloth. Sticky floor.

Room was nice, bed was excellent, but outside noise was bad. Roads I can deal with but loud people talking outside until 4am.
