During my stay, I encountered some cleanliness issues, including finding lots of hair on the sheets. The service was less attentive than expected, and the overall experience was not up to par. While the location was convenient, I believe there are better options available. I would suggest considering other accommodations for a more comfortable stay.

Perfect place to stay for our visit to the Springs! Grab and go breakfast with fresh coffee was my favorite part. The room was clean and shower was hot! I will definitely be looking at this place the next time I come to Pagosa Springs.

The owner was at the front desk and very grumpy. We had ants in the room and they did nothing to alleviate. The owner stated he is tired of this business and would be selling.

I recently stayed at the Hillside Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room I was assigned was in a poor condition. The mattress was extremely worn out and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. It felt like I was sleeping on an uneven surface, which left me waking up with back pain every morning. In addition to the uncomfortable bed, the room service was disappointing as well. Overall, the poor room condition and lackluster service made my stay at the Hill side Inn very unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.

The hotel is in major need of an update. Beds seemed to be extremely old. I sat down and sunk into springs. There was no shower liner and the options were to have a soaking wet floor or a wet shower curtain that had to stay inside toilet. Soaps were horrible. Super small with almost no lather. Hallways were very warm, felt like I was in a Sauna. Breakfast was terrible and misleading. Horrible coffee and only cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt and low quality breads and mini muffins. Reading Materials in rooms were regarding the property were also outdated. Definitely no hot breakfast as advertised.

Clean room, nice efficient staff, and awesome pool and hot tub. Would recommend to anyone.

Beds weren’t the most comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room but missing a microwave. Simple breakfast. Hot water for oatmeal was lukewarm and the microwave did not work. Coffee ran out. Room was quiet & convenient on first floor. AC worked well

There was hair all over the bathroom when we arrived, the staff are ok tbh the breakfast was disappointing and the room was clean for the most part , take this how you guys read it but for a hotel for almost 200$ it’s not really worth it 😒

It’s the second time here and like the last time it had great service and is conveniently located.

The halls were sweltering. No AC except in the rooms. The rooms were clean all but the filthy carpets. The outside was in poor shape. The only place to sit outside was a couple of broken chairs. I most likely would not stay there again.

Great for a one night stop. Comfy enough for the 6 people in our party and lots to do nearby

1 Sunday night stay in a 2 bedroom. From the photos, the hotel appears to be clean and modern but is not. A mini fridge in the room had disgusting stains inside. This was reported to the front desk to which their reply was cleaning people had gone home for the day. The front desk did not offer to come up and clean the fridge for us. They did provide cleaning supplies for us to clean it OURSELVES. The white bathroom door had a blue stain on it. There was a fairly large gap under the door to the room so you could hear outside noises. No elevators which makes carrying heavy luggage upstairs no easy task. The breakfast was a let down because there were not a lot of options. The building itself and property seemed to be dated. The staff was not friendly either. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of modern or new hotel properties in Pagosa Springs so options were limited. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

The hotel is relatively ok. If you need somewhere to stay ona budget, this may be an option. The included breakfast was very limited. Be prepared to just have a coffee and muffin a a couple of hard boiled eggs. I didnt like that 8:30am most of the breakfast was gone. I asked the attendant for more items and she said they were out. Not good as the breakfast was supposed to go on till 9:30. Most people that walked in after 8:30 were also unhappy and settleling for sugary cereal. Besides the, the hotel is close to restaurants the hot springs.

Everything was clean and staff were polite. The hotel was well managed and the surrounding area felt safe

They advertise as a pet friendly property and the reason I booked there. Once we checked in, they said they didn’t have any pet friendly rooms left and my family and dog could not stay the night. The front desk had already charged my card and said they could not refund it and would need to take it up with the booking site. While I was still there, a text came in from the manager saying they are not a pet friendly hotel and they showed me the text.

Needed some attention to outside appearance.

My Superintendent only had to stay 1 night. Thank Goodness! Everything was broken! TV didn't work, keypad into building broken, toilet paper roll broken... just glad he had AC. Spoke to the counter personnel and they said " yeah, thats been broken for a while". Not sure how they are getting good ratings... Horrible stay.
