The stay was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The hot tub was very chlorinated and needed to be warmer.
The breakfast was okay but maybe some oatmeal and berries. A few more healthy choices. The hedge on the left of the front door on 18th should be cut. Difficult to see when turning right. Thank you. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Hotel and rooms are dated. Location is close to a number of amenities and the highway. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t worth serving and should be advertised as a cold continental breakfast. We ended up going to McDonald’s. Restaurant beside hotel served good food for dinner.

The room I stayed in was fairly gross. All around the room could use a renovation. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and loose under foot. The wall was visibly dirty in the bathroom. The shower curtain was all ripped up and wouldnt stay closed. The fan intake was filthy. Broken tiles in the shower. The smoke detector is missing from the room. The baseboards were kinda chipped up. Not very impressed with the stay. The only real positive note I can give is the staff was friendly and helpful. I travel for work and will not be staying at this super 8 again.

Was a great stay. The young lady at the front was always very pleasant and really made us feel welcomed. Room/suite was perfect for myself and my sister. It was like having 2 rooms for the price of one. Two full bathrooms was awesome.

Its unfortunate how run down the super 8 has gotten. We've been coming here for years and have witnessed the motel go down hill. The tv's dont work half the time, the cleanliness of the rooms is awful, the hot tub has worked once out of the 4 times weve gone here this year. The breakfast is extremely lacking, (smelly old hard boiled eggs, stale bread and toast, no fruit.) The motel and its ground are in dire need of repairs and upgrades. Still charged full price for terrible service and we will not be returning. The kids used to love this place but we will have find somewhere decent to stay from now on.

Room was cleaned nicely with lots of space for our family of five. Pool area was great for young kids - waterslide is super fun and there is lots of shallow area to play in (deepest part of the pool is 1 m).

The hotel was perfect for our short stopover in Castlegar. It is an older hotel but the elevator, fridge, microwave and A/C worked fine. Staff at the desk was great. The sink in the bathroom doesn’t drain properly. I would stay again, can’t beat the price.

The hotel room was nice, but did not have towels. Surface clean of the room, floor was dirty, and bathroom was not clean. The pool was dirty and kids could not swim, the continental breakfast was very limited with no protien and cereal was gone. The overall cleanliness of hotel needs some work.

The room was dated and dirty. The fridge was broken, there were holes in the wall. We booked this hotel because the hotel had a pool and waterslide. The pool water was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. Went to use the shower and it didn't work. They switched us to a theme suite with 3 tvs and none of them worked and the A/C didnt work either. We ended up leaving and going to a different hotel in town. I will say that the front desk staff was very kind and apologetic but the property was awful.

The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were exceptionally kind and helpful. My truck broke down and I had to be towed to Castlegar. The manager Lise went above and beyond helping me through a difficult situation. I’m incredibly grateful!! Pool slide is lots of fun too!
