Was here for the NASCAR race, so surge pricing was in effect at approximately $300/night. Hot water took about 20 minutes to get hot. TV was wifi-only and the wifi was intermittent the entire weekend, so the TV was pretty much unwatchable. Bathroom was less than clean. The blinds for the window would not open, so we could not let sunlight in the room. No worries, though, because the view outside of our room was a bunch of rolls of old carpet laying in the back yard of the hotel.
Breakfast was so-so but the person running it was very polite.
Definitely won't stay here again.

The property needs some maintenance. I had a room and my mother had a room. She changed rooms three times due to lights not working, AC not functioning and the last room didn’t have a microwave and refrigerator. In my room, the toilet paper holder kept coming out of the wall and the door was off so you had to shove it Closed so it would latch. Evidently, there was a snake in the first floor hallway the morning that we left. Considering that there are NASCAR races coming to town, you would think the property would be top-notch.

I was visiting Martinsville to watch my son play baseball. I was referred to this property. To my surprise, the lobby was not clean, and the staff was disconnected. Hopefully, they will improve their service.

It was AWFUL. They remodeled it and did a terrible job. The room I was in had NO fridge, microwave, full length mirror, nor tissues (the tissue box was empty). NO plugs for electronic device's. That’s crazy since they just finished remodeling it. They don’t have any lamps and the shade in our room didn’t let up it appeared to be broken. The bathroom door was falling apart. It looked liked it had been kicked in or something. All they did was try to glue it back together and paint over it. The bathroom was tiny. The shower doesn’t have a place to put your body wash/shampoo or anything! The toilet continues to run unless you shake the handle. I have been staying at this hotel since it was build when it was called Jamison Inn. It changed ownership several times throughout the years but this is the worst it ever been. I’m there 2x a year so I have many years to compare it to.
The “PRO” is they do have a got hot breakfast! It was very good.
When saw Comfort Inn had took over and doing a remodel I expected better. Boy was I disappointed. I won’t be staying there again. I’m already looking for a hotel for my next stay this year.
The price is reasonable for the area. It’s always said you get what you pay for. So if you need a place to stay with the bare amenities then this the place for you. So be cautious. I’d rate this Comfort Inn a 2/5

When we checked out the front desk delayed us for 45 minutes because the payment from your company did not clear. Finally it came through. We were almost late for our appointment.

I really like the friendly staff. I dislike my second night stay when I come back to my room my key cards would not let me in my room so I had to go back downstairs to get my keys fixed it like they had deactivate them that was very inconvenient.

This was a poor example of Comfort Inn properties. The room was bare. No fridge. Loose electrical outlets, some didn’t work. Cheap furniture, limited cable. Our window shade had the cords broken off so we couldn’t open it for natural light. Overcooked breakfast. A menu to a restaurant with no address, website, or phone number. We had an unrequested handicap room and the shower leaked all over the bathroom. We paid way too much for this room and were completely disappointed. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The courtyard view had a lot of trash and old carpets out there. The housekeeping was knocking on the door @ 9:30am when checkout is 11am. The front desk was nonchalant and didn’t speak. Walls are thin I heard another guest snoring during the night.
The hotel was clean, smelled great and the breakfast set up was great. Conveniently located.

The room was clean and comfortable. The check in staff was absolutely top notch! I think the girl said her name was Kelli and she was so helpful and sweet! We were there for a funeral and she was such a bright spot in our long day of traveling!

Room was pretty clean. We did find a small fast food bag of trash left behind the chair in a corner of the room which was disappointing because everything else was very clean. But when I found that, it made me question how well the room was cleaned/vacuumed if that was missed. I do wish the room had a microwave and small refrigerator, that would have made it better. But the bed was comfortable and the coffee in the morning was delicious.

The staff was excellent in fixing issues we had when we first arrived.
1) The blind did not work. We needed light.
2)The WiFi did not work in the room.
3) A piece of tile was loose from the wall.
4) There was no frig in the room (or microwave).
5) My husband needed light to work at the desk. A lamp was brought in to remedy the situation.
Since the WiFi did not work in the room, they moved us down the hall to a different room.
We were tired, so we went to bed. The next night I told my husband that it felt like my side of the bed was broken. If I got too close to the edge of the bed, I could fall off. My husband felt around and felt nothing under my side of the bed. We went to the desk the next morning and they sent up a couple of maintenance men to check it out. They picked up the bed to find out that whoever set up the bed put the box spring upside down, thus, there was no support for my side of the bed.
There were no phones in either room to call down to the desk (or anywhere).

We stayed for 3 nights. Front desk lady was amazing. The lobby area was very nice, but once you turned the corner, first the elevator dont even look like an elevator, i literally walked right passed it... the smell in the hallway and the room, smelled like dirty moldy clothes. So glad i packed my shower shoes (bathroom, i cleaned) also went to walmart and purchased my own bedding) and there was NO microwave ughhh.. the stairways are dirty and freezing, almost scared to walk thru, and the walls are paper thin, i could hear my neighbors conversations.. but the icing on the cake was in the hallways. There was so many dead lady bugs just laying around 🙄 😫. Should have been something done about that. Would have been an easy clean, but just shows, the whole place is dirty/ dingy..

Very friendly staff. Allowed me to check in a bit earlier when a room was ready. Provided me with a hairdryer immediately when there was not one in the room. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. Will stay here again!

The front doors are broken, so i cold in the lobby, because no one closes the door behind them. I was placed in a room that had just finished construction. Was then switched to another room where the blind wouldn’t let down. Had to rig it up. The next morning went for breakfast and there was no milk for the cereal, the refrigerator was locked up like people were gonna steal something and a lady was guarding the food. I’ll never stay there again. Or wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

The room was okay but it was only one trash can in the entire room none in the bathroom our fridge did not work and the cleaning staff took our towels and wash cloths that were dirty and did not replace them

After looking at reviews from 30 days prior, the same broken door was still broken. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Our room had an adjoining door and we could hear every sound from our neighbors and their TV. The room is very simple, no fridge or microwave. The window blind didn’t work. There’s not much around the town but the room served its purpose and like I said, the breakfast was good for me and my two kids.

The bathroom door did not lock unless you lift the door up and when it was closed you could see out of the crack since he didn’t have a tighter close.
No refrigerator…. A mini fridge for drinks would have been nice.
The AC did not work!!! The room was hot. It would work sometimes and then shut off, and when it worked it wasn’t long enough to cool down the room. We came to this hotel on an 80 degree day with a large family.
The toilet hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was pubic hair and pee droplets on the back of the toilet where the seat is attached. Also, the toilet handle had fingerprints on it.
The electric sliding doors to enter the hotel didn’t work. They were just kept open. That should have been the first red flag. We had no where to throw out our room garbage but after asking I was told to just leave it outside the front entry of the hotel.
The house keeping staff do not change bedsheets in between nights or come in to change the garbage. They were also not friendly and had a less than hygienic appearance.
Being that we couldn’t keep our drinks cold, we tried to get ice from the ice machine (5am so it should have been full) it only had a little bit of ice.
Overall, this place appeared decent from the road but is a one star hotel.
