Good for the price our room was warm to the had to run A/C all night. It was 48 degrees outside. Other than that it was okay don’t stay by the elevator gets noisy.

It was an ok stay for 1 night. We booked for a wedding nearby. The shuttle for the wedding was picking us up around 1:30 so when we got there around 1, I was really hoping to get checked in early. After accepting a room we didn't book just to get checked in early, the guy at the front desk told me there would be a $35 early check-in fee. I asked if the room totals would be the same but he said the price couldn't be reduced because I booked it via 3rd party.
I then asked since it was only 2 hours and we're not getting the room we wanted could they waive the fee? He proceeded to act like he didn't hear me... I was already stressed out about getting in our room and ready in 30 mins that I just gave him my card.
I understand early checkin policy but every hotel i've ever been to that I've tried to do early checkin, they have always been accommodating. I've never ever paid an early check-in fee especially when there was already a room available and it was a room we didn't even book. Definitely need to teach front desk a little bit more customer service skills.

We had an issue with the toilet tank refilling every three minutes throughout the night. Didn’t bother us too much, but had to hold the handle down to flush.

It’s a really nice hotel for the price. Overall property is very nice. Beds are comfortable. AC works wonderfully which is rare these days. Great pool & hot tub. Above all the staff is outstanding; quick to offer help & personally (quickly with a smile) brings all you need to your room so you can stay relaxed (this truly is a rare trait for even the best hotels). Staff not only knew my name but my 3 kids as well & always greeted us with a genuine openness. We’ve been here 4 days & it’s been entirely a positive experience.

i liked that dining was close, too bad not within walking distance. except mcdonalds. i didn't like the "it's time for you to leave" call at less than 5 minutes after checkout time.

No "Do not disturb" placards where provided. Cleaning staff attempted to gain entry as I was asleep, then laughed and stayed and kept the door open for a few minutes, even after beenimg repeatedly asked to leave. Nice hotel, and desk staff where very nice, but would not return as i value my privacy

This is a very convenient hotel to take the kids to wings and waves Waterpark. It is very close and it is convenient that they offer a breakfast buffet. The pool area is also great for both kids and adults

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. Could use some upgrades. Very mediocre property for the price. TV didn’t work in our room and it was too late to ask someone to help, we reported to the front desk when we checked out. Also very mediocre and rather unhealthy breakfast. The worst part for me was that every TV in the lobby and breakfast area was tuned to Fox News, yuck!

We got a room with 2 queen beds. One of our beds smelled like urine. The bed cover was covered in urine. We didn’t smell it at first until we woke up early the next day. The hotel didn’t have an extra room available and wouldn’t refund/give us compensation because we went through hotels.com. Not very happy with how our stay turned out for paying almost $500 for 2 nights.

We attempted to check in two hours early due to our earlier arrival and a reservation we had at the water park for the same check in time. The man at the front desk was very curt with my husband and also mentioned an extra fee for the convenience.

The place was dirty. Everytime I turned around someone has a dog with them. To be honest the place looks like a homeless shelter. I would never stay them again.

The breakfast was very good. Both days the coffee I like was out in the dining room though and nobody there to make more.
The shower curtain was ready to fall off. It leaned about 5 inches further than it should have. We had to be careful we didnt pull it off because it hung so low in the shower we were afraid we would step on it and pull it down.

The family suite we stayed in was spacious for my family of 5. The tub was clogged called down to the front desk around 7:30am to let them know of the tub situation. Maintenance didn’t show up until after 2:00pm didn’t do any work as my husband was in the restroom at the time. Informed us to call down to the receptionist desk when he gets out did that 10mins later and was told maintenance guy left for the day! Pull out couch was broken so we couldn’t use that either! Fridge had a weird smell so we ended up using our cooler to store our drinks. Carpet looks like it hasn’t been clean in ages! Windows had these marks on them looks like it hasn’t been cleaned too. The pool had dirt on the bottom surface along with the paint chipping! The only thing next to the red lion is a McDonald's. Staff at the front desk were very nice and check in is very quick and easy. Overall this room wasn’t the greatest we’ve stayed before and it wasn’t as bad as this go around! We won’t be staying here again even if it’s closer to the softball field for a tournament!

The smell inside the room was nasty and I can’t explain it. After being inside for a bit, I didn’t notice it any longer. On the first night when I needed to use the bathroom, the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was still “stuff” inside and around the bowl. I had to pee so bad that I cleaned it off so I could sit down. The sink also had some black gunk around the drain. I told the front desk and requested a special cleaning before using any more plumbing. They accommodated my request immediately and we didn’t have any more issues. We didn’t want to change rooms because we were there for 3 days and had lots of things for our self and the dogs.
They welcome dogs and they have a great doggie area around the property. There’s nothing really near the hotel except the McDonald’s next door. Although inconvenient, it was nice to be in the country.
It’s a standard outdated hotel, but it was fine for our stay. Nothing fancy but friendly and accommodating staff.

The property is a little dated and slightly beat up but the staff was nice and the room was clean. I spent 1 night and left at 6 a.m. For the price, it was a pretty good value. I would stay again for the price. I have stayed elsewhere in town for more money.

The room was nice and bigger then we expected, the mirror had a frame that was taped on but still off and was just left sitting in front of the mirror. The TV in the room with the king bed wasn't working when we first arrived and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to come and fix it for us. All in all we had a nice stay, the pool was fun and decent sized and I was impressed with their breakfast options. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

One of my best stays ever, the staff were exemplary, polite, helpful and the breakfast catered for all tastes. A very pleasant stay which is very rare nowadays with most hotels looking to make money and cut service. Very highly recommended
