I was extremely tired and wanted a shower. I had a delivery around the corner the next morning, so it was convenient and badly needed! Clean & friendly staff.

Saturday evening the people in the room next to us were very load. They were still up being load at 3 am. The morning were noisy before 6 am and people do not think when they talk loud walking down the hall at 7 am that others may still be sleeping.
The room was clean and otherwise a nice stay but I probably will not stay again due to the level of noise.

Very satisfied with our one night stay at the Super 8 in Alexandria,Minnesota! Very smart that the carpet in our room had been replaced with laminate flooring, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and even found a wine corkscrew for us to use! Would stay here again when returning to the area!

My sisters and I were very comfortable during our 2-night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was small but clean, and the food fresh. Nice to have coffee/tea available at all times.

Very noisy, poor sound deadning. Price increased from the time I booked. This is not the first time this has happened. Never staying at Super 8 ever again!

It was not the best experience we've had with this hotel chain. The room smelled, others had the same experience in their rooms. Though the air conditioner cooled the room, just didn't cut the humidity. This made the experience less than enjoyable.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had many options to choose from. They are in the process of redoing floors, which will make the rooms better. Only problem was you could go out the end door, but had to come back in the front because lock wasn’t working. Guests still propped door open, even though they were asked not to. Property was very pretty, and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay.

Dirty rooms and old wet towels in bathroom on arrival. A/C didn’t work properly. No clean towels and used towels and trash not picked up daily. Dust on every surface. Check in lady was less that cordial

For some reason the hotel is very humid. If you don't leave your window open the room smelled like mildew and musty. They must have a problem because they had dehumidifiers all over.

This hotel was just ok. The room smelled musty and the milk was spoiled at breakfast so no cereal for us.

We asked for an early checkin (1/2 hour earlier) at the last minute and they accommodated along with changing the room from the second floor to the main floor and they accommodated that as well, so we were extremely happy!! Once we got into the new room, we noticed there wasn’t too much extra room to walk around the beds, window area; it was very tight. So, overall 4/5 stars for that reason.

We were there three nights. Mostly to sleep. It was quiet and comfortable. Liked the walking distance to restaurants. Only had breakfast one morning, as we were with family the others. It was pretty typical, waffles, dry cereals, yogurt. They had string cheese, which was nice.

Staff friendly & efficient. It is an older hotel but they are in the process of making some nice renovations, like laminate flooring. Much cleaner!

We were very pleased with our stay at Super 8 in Alexandria, MN. We were apprehensive after two bad experiences with Super 8; one in Winona, and one in Rockford, IL. The staff was on the ball, making sure there was fresh coffee, and that the breakfast supply was replenished. The rooms were clean, and well furnished.

Very nice staff; convenient location; good price; nicely refurbished; great sitting chair and ottoman. Only complaint: bed was not comfortable. Room was small, but that was fine with us.
