We were very impressed with this location. It is close to family for us but also very easy to access for the city as well.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful but their willingness to help went above and beyond in our estimation.
When we realized that we had forgotten to pack up our personal pillows. One call got housekeeping to find them and a second got them boxed up and on route back to our home.
We will be back.

Chose this hotel for the fitness center. Checked in late and discovered that the fitness center was locked. Was told that there was a problem with the entry lock so no access until maintenance arrived after 9. This is not the type of hotel where you lounge around. It was fine (room smelled) but certainly not luxury. No workout and will not go back. Manager said she couldn’t offer me any credit because I booked through Hotels.com.

Overall, it was a very good stay. The room was clean and the lighting in the room was great. Everyone that I came in Contact was pleasant and helpful. The only complaint I have is the $50 charge that was placed on my credit card upon checking in, I thought I paid for everything with Hotels.com and disappointed to, learn that they would put a $50 charge on my card for no reason other than I could charge some thing to my room or break something. Normally hotels will run your account with an authorization code and I would’ve been OK with that but just charge $50 for no reason other than checking in is something I did not expect. This is something hotels.com should inform to set the correct expectations.

TV didn’t work and never got fixed. Front desk would not give us any more pillows and no late check out. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast lady was the only positive thing about this hotel. She was actually helpful and smiled, the only employee that did this. For the price I would find a better hotel.

It was an overall nice stay with a couple of service issues: The TV in the room didn't work. When I asked to have it fixed, nobody ever came to the room to fix it; when I told the front desk about it, they only shrugged and said "guess they didn't get my message" (they did write it down).
The other was breakfast: I went down there and saw hot plates get refilled, but the food was still cold. I ended up going out for breakfast both days instead.
Overall, the room and proximity to downtown GR and beach towns was fantastic, but service was memorable in a bad way.

Stay away! Upon entering my room it was clearly not cleaned. Bathroom had hairs and dirt on the shower floor and on the bathroom floors. Garbage was in our room, room was musty and smelled. Tv remote didn’t work. The a/c kept shutting off and all night long it sounded like someone underneath us was using a drill. Good luck getting ahold of the manager I tried multiple times prior to arrival to ask the manager a question and no response. Now the manager has been telling me via chat they would contact me and so sorry for the delay yet had still failed to contact me. I will be contacting corporate at this point. AVOID this hotel!

Room had wrappers on the floor, ice bucket was wet and musty. The fridge was soaking wet. The bathroom door wasn't installed right and could see into the bathroom. The main door also had a large gap and you could clearly hear everything outside.

the aprtment is in front of the beach, all rooms have ocean view. The hotel has a decent pool. Tbe beach area is nice and quiet. It is a family friendly hotel.

We stayed in room 228/229 our fridge didn’t get cold in 228, 229 door was falling off. We signed waiver for change of towels and 229 didn’t get anything.
Every time we went to pool area a family of 8/9 was dominating pool and hot tub kids jumping in and splashing in hot tub so it wasn’t even enjoyable. Then same family had kids running up and down halls at all hours of day and night.

We were disappointed in the condition of this hotel. I felt it needed new carpet, fresh paint, and new furniture. Our room had an odor; the refrigerator was dirty inside; the pocket door to the bathroom and the shower door both had a horrible screech; and I found a bug in my suitcase. It took 15 min to get checked in.
