Great location, perfect for the beach and all the facilities Platanias has to offer.
Dimitris cannot do enough to make sure you have a great holiday. He and his staff are all very friendly and welcoming, you feel like part of the family!
The apartment was modern with a lovely bathroom.
There are loads of great restaurants within a very short walk, we had a car for the holiday but you could easily manage without due to the proximity of everything.
The pool was clean with good sun beds, you can tell a lot about a place by the quality of their sun beds!

We stayed for two weeks at Amaryllis, and it was amazing! It is very quiet, yet still only a minute walk to town. Lovely pool bar and a nice pool with a lot of depth. Nice rooms and balconies. And most importantly, amazing staff in every category! I will definetely come back here at a later time!

Fantastic family run property with lovely hosts. Great apartment.
However if you have mobility issues there are lots of steps and it is up a gentle hill/slope.
Owners are lovely and helpful
I’d go back if it wasn’t for the pool area. I have mobility issues and could barely get around the pool due to the sun beds and close proximity to the pool/water

Simply amazing: very clean apartment, super attentive service. Towels changed every day. Delicious snacks and drinks served at the pool bar. Close to everything you could want, from walking tours to taxis and public transport. After an unpleasant experience at another hotel, Dimitre and his family really made us feel at home, but on vacation. I will definitely fly next summer.

Great location. 1min to Supermarkets and bus stop that takes you to Chania, Elafonisi beach.
Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Neat and clean. Kitchenette was fully equipped.

Great value hotel apartment in excellent location. Staff was responsive and gracious. Apartment was spacious and clean. Lots of light just over a block from main street with plenty of restaurants, grocery store, many stores for shopping, and an excellent bakery. Also a short walk to nice beach. Main bus stop two blocks away to to all major destinations. Includes a pool and poolside service.

Amaryllis is a wonderful apartment hotel. The room was large, sunny, modern, and clean. The location ideal--just about 1 block from the main street--quiet and a stone's throw from many stores, restaurants, cocktail lounges, and bakeries. Only a couple minutes from a beautiful beach. Staff was very helpful and accommodating--I extended my stay twice and was able to keep the same room. There is a lovely pool, food and drinks on premises (but I did not use these facilities). A great value overall and a pleasant stay.

The location of these apartments is fantastic. It's off the main strip and incredibly quiet, but you're in the thick of it within a couple of minutes walk. You can get to anything you need within five mins...maybe seven mins to the beach!
The apartments are modern and clean, with daily service. There's a kettle and hot plate and decent sized fridge - we found we were quite able to manage sorting light lunch in the apartments every day (if you're a flamboyant chef, probably not enough space and equipment...but why both when there's so many nice places to eat so close!).
Friendly, relaxed staff with a pool bar offering snacks - cooked breakfast, club sandwich, gyros or burgers. Cafetiere coffee and frappes, plenty of juice and booze on offer too.
Pool area is sufficient, though if you're someone who wants to swim fifty lengths everyday, you'll be better off in the sea. We were very happy with it. It's calm and relaxed, perfect for a laidback holiday.

Loved this hotel. The location was perfect, very quiet, yet close to all the bars and restaurants. friendly staff, lovely modern rooms, very clean. We had breakfast at the pool bar on our last morning and wished we had eaten breakfast there more often. It was superb. Would definately stay here again.

Very nice and serviceminded owner and staff. The hotel is laying next to shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakery, servicestand etc. You can get mostly everything within minutes walk from the hotel. Very quite when it comes to music, traffic, neighbours. Close to the long beach (which is not for the smallest children, the water gets deep close to the shore). Bus- and taxistop just down the street, very good connection both to Chania- and Gerani/Kolumbari area. Large parkingarea for those who's driving a car. Poolarea with sunbeds are not to big, but okay. Tables where you can get beverages and "snacks". "Library" in the mainbuilding made by the guests. I would easely choose this hotel again because of the nice atmosphere and the location.

Absolutely recommend this hotel apartments ... family run business who just cannot be more accommodating.. Dimitri goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect ... prime location a stroll away from everything . Will see be back we had the best time

As we arrived late evening the Taxi Driver was given the key to our room and we had a welcomed bottle of wine waiting in the room. our flight was three hours late arriving at Chania Air Port. Dimitris the Hotel Manager organised the transport for us , he could not do enough for his guests? room have all had a face lift. and it has still got excellent service

Wonderful apartments with friendly staff. Only criticism was shower was a bit weak and not able to hang shower up whilst you shower. Over wise fabulous wish I could staged for longer

Nice family owned hotel, in the heart of Platanias and close to the beach (300m). Well maintained facilities and extremely friendly hotelier. Plenty of free parking. Nice kid-friendly pool and pool bar in the shade.

We had a great stay at Amaryllis. It was clean and had a friendly staff who informed us and helped us with everything we needed. The air-condition was included wich was great. The hotel was a bit hidden in Platanias but it wasn`t further than two minutes of walking to get to the main street. The rooms was very clean and upgraded like the pictures. If you`re planning to spend most of your stay in Platanias on the beach this is a great apartmenthotel to spend the nights.
