The property was spacious and had great window covers protecting it from the harsh sun during the day and blocking the light in the morning.

The manager is nice and qas helpful but there are problems with the property that should be taken care of. The 2nd patio door is sitting on the deck leaving the screen door unlockable. We always lock our door at night for sleeping so this was an uncomfortable feeling. The coffee milk in the fridge was sour. The bedding was clean but wrinked as if it had sat in a dryer for hours.

The place is way out in horse country. Not far to all stores and restaurants. Nice and private. Great place to be away from congestion. Loved it there

These are modern clean cabins equipped with great TVs and great location for accessing the You Yangs. Beautiful sunsets and horses in paddock near by

Excellent place to stay at, lodges are nicely fitted out. Very peaceful area. You wouldn't know it was only 10 mins from the shops in Corio.

Great location, clean and tidy room with everything you need! The presentation of the property wasn’t as pictured with litter and items that make the site less appealing. But still a very comfortable stay at a great rate. We would definitely return!

Great cottage style accommodation on the outskirts of Lara, just outside of Melbourne. Peaceful and quiet with lots of space. The property included soap, shampoo and conditioner but unfortunately no tea, coffee or milk for a brew. Town is a quick 5 min drive for food.
The owners are lovely people.

Fantastic location, with great roomy and homey cabins. The bathroom was amazing! Our only disappointment was the bed wasn’t overly comfortable. Overall though we had a great stay!

Lara lodge is very close to You Yang.
You Yang is a nice spot for hiking, mountain bike and picnic. we did hiking with the dog at You Yang. And Lara lodge was a pet-friendly accommodation that helped our needs.

Initial impressions as you come in the driveway are OMG, what have I booked. But when you get into the cabins, Wow!! Spacious, clean, modern with almost everything you need for a single night or way more time.

The appearance is very different to the standard. Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort. Very well maintained and will certainly be adding this to my "repeat stay" list. Highly recommend
