Beachy Tiki on the Water!
Belle 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain escapade. Spacieux et lumineux, cet appartement de 860 pieds carrés est attaché à l'arrière de ma maison et est l'endroit idéal pour séjourner. Nous sommes situés au centre des commerces, des restaurants, des plages, du nouveau complexe de baseball et de tout ce que les Palm Beaches ont à offrir. Cette propriété n'est pas sur la plage mais est sur une voie navigable intérieure avec vue sur l'eau. Je l'appelle Beachy Tiki pour le décor, pas pour l'emplacement.
Récemment rénové, concept ouvert, cuisine entièrement nouvelle, avec grand îlot avec comptoirs en granit et sièges de tabouret de bar, élimination des déchets, réfrigérateur en acier inoxydable avec machine à glaçons et lave-vaisselle. Sont également fournis des assiettes, de l'argenterie, des tasses à café et des verres. Il n'y a PAS de cuisinière, mais il y a un micro-ondes, un grille-pain, une cafetière et une mijoteuse et un gril à gaz à l'extérieur. Qui cuisine quand même en vacances? Mais il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse pour vos besoins de lessive.

Détendez-vous sous la cabane tiki en profitant de la vue sur l'eau. Regardez le poisson sauter et voyez les pélicans et autres oiseaux qui vivent autour de la lagune d'eau salée. Il y a une piscine pour votre usage, et même des kayaks si vous voulez explorer un peu. Marchez jusqu'au restaurant de fruits de mer au bord de l'eau au coin de la rue. Un dépanneur et une station-service sont également à quelques pas.

My granddaughter and I were on a college tour and had an appointment in Palm Beach for Monday, June 24, 2024.
I wanted us to have an opportunity to check out the area before our college tour appointment so booked this location based on pictures and previous review.
It did not disappoint! The pictures were accurate,on the VRBO website, especially for the interior of the apartment. It was lovely and clean. Very roomy for two people. Loved sitting outside by the water (lagoon or canal - I don't know) and pool. My granddaughter was anxious to use her paddle board so was out on the water late in the afternoon one evening. The location is convenient to several beaches and John D McArthur State park - another location that is great for canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. We met the hostess, who lives on the property, with her fur babies the first night and felt immediately at ease and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and have recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law if my granddaughter ends up going to college in the area.

This property has a ton of potential. Unfortunately, it needs a lot of work to reach that potential. The positives were the location was great, our host, Karen, was very nice, the kitchen had some nice upgrades and the views were very pretty. The negatives were that the property needs a professional cleaning. The shower/ toilet area bordered on the verge of gross. The tub had mold all over it and just felt dirty. The windows desperately need to be replaced and the smell of cat urine was overwhelming at times. When we got home we had to wash everything and we felt like we smalled like cat urine everywhere we went. There were a few other maintenance issues, which were addressed quickly. The pool was dirty and i did not feel comfortable swimming in it, which was disappointing because we specifically wanted a place with a pool. Granted, if the unit was up to the level it should have been we probably would have paid more for it than we did but the smell was the only thing we couldn't get passed. Would not stay here again.

Definitely not clean or well maintained. The living room/kitchen area smelled like a litter box. There was a camera on top of the kitchen cabinets. Black mold in the corner of the living room. Ants crawling on the kitchen counter which got into our snacks and we had to throw them all out. There were crumbs and cat hair under the kitchen table. The shower/tub had mold all around the tub and window sill. There was dust built up on top of the ceiling fan in the bedroom. The dead bolt on the door did not work and the pool deck needed a good pressure washing. In the driveway, there was a camper that someone was living in and smoking weed.
Not sure how this place has such good reviews.

Karen was a great hostess - always available when needed and super friendly. The apartment is off of her main house and provided everything we needed. Being on the water was also nice. We fished and sat out on the dock a few times - very relaxing. The pool was nice to jump in on a hot day. the location was prefect - close to so many things! Thank you for your hospitality, Karen.

Great location, clean, just like the pictures, and the host is so kind! She gave us great suggestions for local places to eat and things to do. Everything you need is only a couple minutes away, including the beach!

Unit was very clean with cozy decor and was quite large for just the two of us. I would have liked to have taken the bedroom walk-in closet home with me! Had our coffee every morning by the lake, under the tiki hut. Karen was very nice & recommended a very nice park for me to ride my bike & was very accommodating with bike storage when not in use. A restaurant just a couple doors down did not look so great on the outside but had the best food! In fact was my favorite meal of the whole trip. If you don’t mind staying in the same unit as the owner, this is a good choice.

A few areas need attention: moldy caulking in the shower, gutter joints in the tiki hut area are leaking creating mold. We did not use the pool due to alge. We had to put a beach towel over the outdoor couch due to pet hair. Pet waste in the lawn area outside the pool. A little TLC and maintenance would make this a cute place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Karen's VRBO. It rained or was overcast the whole time we were there, but we hung out on the patio under the Tiki roof, and it was lovely! It was within walking distance of a couple neat places. We ate at Debra's Cafe, which had excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed espresso and freshly-baked Cuban pastries at Tulipan. Highly recommended!

Pictures looked great but not as good in person. Bathroom was dirty with spots on the toilet, and old bar of soap in the shower and a loofah. Didn’t seem to be cleaned prior to our arrival. The deadbolt does not work and lacked a feeling of security while sleeping. Pool needed cleaning but was too hot to use anyway. The owner was out a couple of times and was nice.
Not a bad place. Great location, just not worth 5 stars. Maybe something has changed recently???

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend getaway. The property was tidy and well kept. We sat outside and really enjoyed the nice ocean breeze. Karen the host was very personable and friendly.
The apt was super clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. The beach chairs and umbrella came in handy when we visited nearby Juno Beach.
Location was key to our choice of staying here. We visited McCarthy’s wildlife sanctuary (25 minutes away) and Jupiter Lighthouse. Lots of restaurants in close proximity. We enjoyed Sara’s kitchen for breakfast and Frigate’s waterfront for dinner.

We loved our stay here. The place was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The patio was where we spent most of our time as we read on the couch, swam in the pool, and fished off the dock. Lots of catfish while fishing which was expected. We did catch some Grunt and a Baracuda. Saw some Mahi Mahi, Snook, and Sheepshead from the dock as well.
While we loved our stay, know that there are dogs on the property. They made their way back to us at various times through the week and we heard them occasionally barking inside. The small dogs pretty much left us alone. The bigger dog barked at us but the owner came out to get him pretty quickly. We are generally okay with dogs but be aware in case someone in your party is wary. My one complaint is that the dogs used the grass around the patio to “do their business” so there were some times where it smelled, especially in the heat of the afternoon. We did use the hose to spray it away and that helped a little.
Otherwise it was a great stay. Karen wasn’t able to be in town but she was quick to respond to our messages any time we needed something and her family was helpful in her stead.

The pictures and description on Vrbo accurately represent the property. We were greeted by the owner upon our arrival, very pleasant and informative about the area. The location was very convenient to the cruise ship we were taking. Being able to stay here allowed us to start our vacation prior to getting on the ship.

We needed a break and this place did it. The outside sitting areas over looking the water and the clean pool were just the thing we were looking for. And a bonus was Oscar, the cat that came out on occasion for a pet . The inside had comfy couches and a nice bedroom. The owner even let me borrow a fishing pole! We’d book again.
Just a note; this is an in-law apartment so we could hear the owner once in a while(they are extremely quiet) so I believe they could hear us. No problem for us.

This is the second time we stayed at the Beachy Tiki! We absolutely love the home, the pool, the dock, and the neighborhood/area. Sitting under the Tiki and having the pool, is an added treat for us. Karen is a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to provide everything we need. She has become a friend. We also appreciated Karen's suggestions on food choices and places to go. Highly recommend this place and we will be back.

My Is wife and I needed a place to unwind and Karen's Apartment was just the right spot.
We Enjoyed having a cup of coffee while sitting in the Lounge chairs and watching the fish jump.
Kitchen had everything you would need if you desired to cook in.
It is centrally located and the beach is only minutes away.

From biking to kayaking the Loxahatchee River, boating the canals and running through the neighborhood, we had a great location to do the things we enjoy. Karen is very knowledgeable and welcoming about sharing the local attractions. The home was very spacious and had everything we need. Thank you Karen for your hospitality!

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean and convenient to the activities we had planned.
Karen is a great host. You will not be disappointed. Only thing we wished was that the pool was heated. But maybe we could have used it if it had been warmer prior to our visit.
I really loved that there was a washer and dryer included. It is nice to come home with very little laundry.
We also enjoyed the comfy couches. Husband enjoyed fishing off the dock. Thanks Karen for the rods and other fishing equipment.
If you visit this area make sure to check out Lion Safari and Butterfly World. Both are about 45 to 1 hour away but you will enjoy them.
The weather was amazing too bad we had to come home to wind chill advisories and -9 tonight.

We had a great 10 day stay. Loved sitting on the patio and chilling. We slept great every night. Kitchen and living room are up to date and very nice and comfortable. We will be back again to get our boatride with Karen. Thanks for a great stay.

I almost didn’t want to rewrite this the review because the place is so amazing and I don’t want too many people to know about it. I wanted some thing in the Palm Beach area and I love being on the water and this place fit the bill to a T. You are sitting on an intercoastal inlet and you can spend the day sitting outside, watching the fish literally jump into the air and birds coming along to snatch them. You have your own private entrance, and the place is much bigger than it appears in the photos. The living room and kitchen area is extremely spacious and the kitchen is very updated. There is a heater/fireplace in the living room and we used it for a number of days as it got down into the 40’s. There is a master bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a huge walk-in closet. Ample space to store everything out of the way including many dressers. KAREN, the hostess was amazing and helped us out with a few minor issues along the way that she took care of immediately . There is a swimming pool however, when we went, it was quite cool for Florida and the pool is not heated. However, if you go in the summer, I’m sure it is an added treat. The location is amazing and there is an incredible restaurant right around the corner, and the neighborhood is beautiful to walk . I will return and hopefully not too many people will have discovered this amazing place so there will be dates available for my next visit. Thank you Karen for creating such a beautiful place. We had a couple of issues with the property but these were dealt with by Karen/Jennifer. The property is a very good size especially for 2 people, living area and kitchen is really good and had everything you would need. The bedroom was a great size and had a walk in wardrobe - not a complaint but I would say it could use a bigger bed. The pool and pool area are decent and a nice place to relax, we had the pool to ourselves. The water pressure in the bathroom sink could be better, again not a complaint just an observation. The area is great, loads to do on the doorstep and loads of great things just a short drive away - Jupiter, Juno, Flying lady boat tours to name a few. The only negative was that the great reviews were also based on how good the host is and for our trip the host was also on vacation so we didnt get to experience that. All in all, you'll be happy you booked

My impression of this property is that it is nicer than it appears online. The property is well-kept, is in a great location and is quiet. I loved sitting on the patio and looking out onto the water. My favorite was going out on the kayaks. The pool is an added bonus and we made use of the grill everyday. Although there is no stove, the cooktop that is included was perfect for making breakfast and there is a coffee maker. This property includes extra comforts from home. The owner is onsite in case there are any issues and is quick to respond. She is friendly and communicative. I would recommend staying at this house if you are looking for an escape from your everyday, yet its still close to everything from restaurants, fishing supply stores to shopping.

My wife and I stayed here for our 30th anniversary. It is a short drive to the beach but for the price you can't beat it. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

The owner Karen was great from start to finish. She is a business owner but treated me like a family member. Karen made me feel welcome and gave me the privacy that I need for a peaceful getaway. The one bed, one bath rental was very clean and decorated to where you felt like you were on your very own island - including a swimming pool, BBQ, and a tiki style seating area. All I can say if there were more business owners/ landlords like Karen, the world would be a better place. Finally if you are not staying at this rental unit , you are missing an experience.

Perfect Stay
We had an amazing time staying with Karen. The rental is spacious, super clean, and close to everything. Karen was awesome. She even took us out on the boat for a tour. We had such a great time with her. We spent time in the pool, hung out on the dock, and even went to the local restaurant around the corner. This spot is a gem, and so is Karen. One of a Kind - 5 Stars
This was one of the best Vacation Rentals I ever stayed in. The pool and views off the back patio were spectacular. Inside, we found the apartment squeaky clean and outfitted with everything we would need for our stay. Our host Karen is professional, kind, and extremely gracious with any requests.
I enjoyed this experience immensely and would recommend the property to anyone looking in the area.

Super cute little beach styled bungalow
Karen is a super thoughtful hostess and was a genuine pleasure to meet! We had a fantastic stay. The property is very clean and cute! The area is conveniently located to just about anywhere you'd like to go. We spent time in Singer and Delray. Took a nice drive up the A1A and enjoyed the coastal views and gorgeous homes. Dining was easy and convenient. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Karen for being a gracious hostess!
