The street on which the property was located. It was like arriving in a slum area. I was reluctant to enter the house after driving up the street only to realise there was nowhere to park to unload the car. As for the outdoor sitting area among the weeds. Words fail me.

It was clean and homely

My husband is over 6 feet, and he didn't fit in the bed, but because the bed has ends, he couldn't hang them over the end

Lemon cottage was a well decorated ,clean and comfortable little house . We found everything we needed for our stay - longe and dining room spacious and homely, kitchen appliances good and extras you always look for - foil , salt and pepper , cling film etc . The two bedrooms were well presented with such lovely clean white bedding and very comfortable mattresses. Also a hairdryer and curling wand and good supply of shower products in the bathroom which was also modern and clean - towels were lovely too !

Maybe a new frying pan with a better non stick coating and sharper bread knife? When we booked we were a little unsure about not having a parking space as it’s hard to visualise until you arrive but car park is literally no walk at all away . I think it was £5.70 for an all day ticket then free 6pm - 9 am so if we didn’t want an early start , just popped over to put 2 hr ticket on . Not a problem

Some recommended improvement could be providing dishclothes and pan scrubbers. The new taps in kitchen were very loose

The property was ideal for our purpose, facilities in the house were ideal, beds were comfortable, close to the town center within walking distance of all amenities, was pet friendly and was clean and tidy.

A down step from the bathroom onto the landing and the curtains in the main bedroom could of been blackout curtains due to the street lights outside the house. We did report the letter box covering being completely of but was never repaired, we did report that there were no recycling bins or rubbish bins, was told that they had been stolen and were waiting for replacements, so we had to leave our rubbish and recycling in black bags in the yard as the new bins never arrived during our stay. We thought it was on a quiet road, but found out it was right next door to a school and we weren’t informed of this.
