the woman at the desk was super helpful and pointed me to the Via Francigena route along the river. the river walk is exceptional. she makes a great cappuccino as well.

The place is very dated and untidy, for example at the entrance there are lots of leaves and cigarette ends, decor is poor, the place badly needs redecorating. The breakfast was okay.

The lady on reception was very very rude, for example she was mocking my diction. Unfortunately when you meet poor staff it sullies your stay. This place is not recommended until staff are properly trained.

Staff, location, value for money, air conditioning

Superb position at the bottom of hill housing a historic city with easy links to major roads, very well-appointed rooms, modern bathroom, very good breakfast until 10. We did not feel rushed even though we had it in the last half hour and were also served excellent coffee from the bar. Kindest staff one can imagine, helping us repark our car in the hotel's underground garage. Also provided plenty of information about the site, restaurants, as well as useful directions to and information about parking at our next destination.

We booked our stay very late so could not really pick the position of the room, which was street-side and a little noisy.

Great place to stay, comfy rooms with air con and a great view, receptioist was really helpful and friendly and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

The property was just 25-30 minutes away from Siena. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was fresh and abundant. The staff were also courteous.

A very relaxing stay! I arrived a bit late but there was late check in available until ten which meant I didn’t have to worry. The lady at reception was super and very kind and helpful. Cool aircon rooms with good shower and bed - slept like a baby! Great location within close proximity to lots of restaurants. Would recommend for an easy and hassle free stay!

Great location, at the foot of the old town. Close to the bus stop. Brilliant Conad supermarket is about 10 minutes on foot. Good coffee at the nearby bars. Very good breakfast. Very friendly lady at reception.

Exceptional experience - everything was absolute pleasure already from the beginning and fantastic Margherita ("not pizza, but the most beautiful flower";)) did our stay there even more amazing! Great location, stays on the way of FV and it was a real gem we found by a last-minute booking.
