L’emplacement idéal, le personnel sympathique, la piscine en extérieur, le petit déjeuner.
L’absence de climatisation "fixe" dans la chambre (le personnel nous a mis a disposition un climatiseur mobile la deuxième nuit)

Limited choice breakfast
Cold swimming Pool and also not a good choice for breakfast

The location couldn’t be bettered and a fabulous pool.
Parking very tight. Cars are bigger and need to be catered for by more turning space.

Liked the peaceful town of Villeneuve les Avignon. Very walkable with good restaurants and shops. We didn't use the pool, but it was nice to sit next to the pool and garden while having breakfast. Another couple (staying at the hotel) told us where to get a bus to take us to Avignon so we didn't have to walk 20-30 minutes. We arrived in a rental car an hour before check-in, and we could not get inside the property (locked metal doors). We made a phone call, and Jean-Paul opened the gate and allowed us to park inside but not get into the room until check-in time. There was no coffee in the room, and my husband needed to wake up and have coffee right away. The breakfast starts late (for us), but if there was a self-serve coffee machine (Kourig), it would be ideal. Jean-Paul did give my husband the use of a kettle to boil water and use his instant coffee packets. We did not try their restaurant because it was closed on the days we were there. The A/C with an attachment through the window served its purpose, but it was noisy. Jean-Paul was very friendly and nice and offered suggestions on where to go and things to do. A minor observation: we got the feeling that things, like check-in, breakfast, room cleaning, had to be done in the right order, sequence, at the scheduled time, otherwise it might throw off/ disrupt the natural order of things (it probably has to do with French philosophy and culture ... "but, of course!!").
Once we checked-in, we were given our own gate clicker (garage door opener) so we had easy entry no matter how late we returned "home" Overall, it was a very good stay and we would like to come back.
It was hard to have to wait to drink coffee until breakfast time. Please consider installing a Kourig machine near the rooms so we can make our own coffee early in the morning. It won't be as good as Jean-Paul's coffee, but at least it will be hot COFFEE.

The location is ideal for being close to local facilities within short walking distance with easy access by bus to Avignon when not using a car. Pleasantly quiet venue and the pool and sunbathing area around the pool were welcome. Nothing too much trouble for the host who was exceptionally helpful.
Perhaps a kettle and tea/coffee being available in the room would have given some more flexibility but not a major issue at all.

The ambience, the pool, the host and the cats!
Lack of electrical sockets/USB charging in room, but not a major issue, just a like to have.

This is an exceptionally comfortable and charming hotel. The garden is beautiful and we were very well looked after by Jean-Paul.
Really, everything was delightful - its location in Villineuve is perfect. The standard of hospitality is very high.

Breakfast was the classic “European breakfast”. God but more modest than others.

Unfortunately the did not like points outweighed the good ones
Pool was somewhat discoloured due to the lack of chemicals, cat smells from the garden around pool,Towels were like stiff boards, the washing line was in full view of customers. Called a hotel but no drinks service until evening restaurant

We found the location to be really quiet for a good nights rest. The bed was very comfortable. There is onsite secure car parking. A great shower. Exceptionally clean and there’s a wonderful restaurant, fabulous evening meal.

This is a very nice guest house with an exemplary host. The garden and pool are ideal for relaxing in the summer sun, and since the guest house has only a few rooms there was always plenty of space around the pool for guests. Villeneuve-les-Avignon is located away from the busyness of Avignon itself, but it is also relatively easy to get to and from Avignon during the daytime by bus - though I preferred to walk, which took me only around 25 minutes - and the area is also well-equipped with restaurants. Breakfast at the guest house was very nice each morning. I would definitely stay here again.
I would probably not arrive on a Sunday if I had the choice in future, as public travel and check-in were both slightly more difficult - but it was not a major problem. I would also have liked another plug socket in the room.

Jean-Paul is such nice and kind host, true gentleman.
Les Jardins De La Livrée is a charming and hidden gem.
We were upgraded (thank Jean-Paul again), what a wonderful greeting one could receive after a long and nerve-racking driving.
I would like to specially mention here of the beautiful and well-maintained garden and swimming pool, they made our staying even more relaxing and memorable.
Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a historical but very stylish village, I'm still feeling lucky that I have found and chose Les Jardins De La Livrée in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon as our second stop.

Comfortable and spacious room with huge shower and beautiful pool. Great location; just a step away from local shops and restaurants with bus service into the walled town of Avignon. Great service and friendly staff; definitely recommend a stay here.

Room was well designed for comfort; breakfast with traditional baguette and croissants and all the coffee you required and the property with its pool and beautiful landscaping provided a luxurious feel. Highly recommend. Finally, the property is right in town of Villeneuve-les-Avignon with an amazing choice of dining options . The bus stop with busses that take you to Avignon and to the Gare is a short walk from Les Jardins de la Livree. Basically, you have the best of both worlds; Ability to go into Avignon with the hustle and bustle; go on interesting day trips out of Avignon, but then return to a lovely residential Community that is quiet and lovely.
Can’t think of anything other than wish the property supplied hair conditioner along with the shampoo.

Beautiful room in a quiet space. Gracious host. Recommend without hesitation.
Loved everything. Only suggest some cups in room and maybe a carafe of water.

The staff were the friendliest people you can ever meet in France. They were very nice, helpful, attentive, and just delightful.
The breakfast was very delicious.
The rooms exceeded our expectations.
The location is a bit far from the city center could be a problem if you don't have a car. Nevertheless, you have good public transportation options and walking is nice on a sunny day.
Also, beware that reception is not 24 hour so better to organise your arrival time with the hotel in advance. This is not an issue since they are very responsive.

Their walled garden surrounding their pool was a lovely suntrap, it was even warm enough to sunbathe in October! Our room and bathroom was delightful, really clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The staff were also really attentive. Great location lots of lovely restaurants close by.

Fabulous little French boutique b&b/hotel tucked away down a historic back street in an upscale village on the outskirts of Avignon. Awesome find - just wish it was warmer and I could have take advantage of the pool as well
