Facilities were excellent - living room/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom all well appointed and spacious. Swimming pool clean and good temperature. Great views from windows and the small sheltered balcony.

Details on web said payment by visa, and that cash was not accepted: but host only accepted cash, or direct bank transfer - we had to go to town to get cash. This should be corrected on the Booking.com site as soon as possible so as not to mislead future guests - or start accepting payment by card! There was a slight smell of drains/sewage which got worse during the heavy rain, which stopped us sitting on the balcony during rain

Very welcoming host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was in the fridge for us and we were able to have a swim in the pool and relax in the sauna. Any questions we had were answered and we had the perfect weekend away :)

From the moment we arrived at Mahalo the wonderful host made us feel welcome & special by personally greeting us on arrival & introducing us to the beautiful location & the finer details & amenities available to us to further enhance a magical & a freshingly unique stay. Rennee was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. The sweet was private and with a gorgeous view from the balcony. So much thought gone into the aesthetics of the room with lovely finishing touches to make for a perfect stay. So great we just had to stay an extra night!

Everything about this property ticks all the boxes. Decor, comfort, views and nice and quiet. The host was exceptional, very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Great midweek getaway, brilliant location. Lots of nice touches such as breakfast and juice in the fridge. Spacious and felt very homely.

Host was very welcoming and accommodating, made the place feel like home. The room had a rustic, homely feel and loved the claw foot bath with a complimentary bath bomb. Views were wonderful to admire while eating breakky in the mornings.
