breakfast was atrocious there were scrambled eggs sausages and boiled eggs which were in a chafing dish with no heat so everything was cold the rest was very basic bar/cafe only open from six no free water in room had to pay internet very poor and lost a number of tv stations

The rooms were big and cleaned daily and the staff were friendly enough. The lady on coffees at breakfast was particularly nice.

The beds weren't the most comfortable but were ok . It's a good 35-40 minute walk into the main port where you'll find a lot of the restaurants so be prepared to do a bit of walking or drive. The "private beach" is actually a beach restaurant called 'La Lancette' which has really lovely food and staff, however it is 25 euros a day for 2 beds so factor that in.

The breakfast and the location were good. We liked the design of this hotel, but that's about the only positive thing of the whole experience. The Smeraldo hotel has 2 nice pool areas but is not servicing the pools with any drinks or snacks which a standard service provided by all the hotels in the area, which is not to understand. We furthermore like to mention that, the restricted opening hours of the hotel bar, from 17.00 hours to 23,00 hrs (on a Saturday evening, on the peak of the holiday season) we did not expect either.

The location of the hotel is perfect, in front of the hotel there is a classic itaian beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (for which you'd need to pay), but next to this beach is the "kid's beach" where you can enjoy yourself for free. The hotel's own pool is also great with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas.

Rooms were clean. The personnel was friendly. The spa was very nice and the view was amazing.

The beds were uncomfortable and very hard. They should be changed. The hotel should renovate itself.

The room was spacious and the balcony big, with nice patio furniture. It is a lovely facility all round.
