We had a wonderful at Résidence l'Oustal des Mers in Gruissan. Every staff member we have encountered, were delightful and eager to help! The apartments itself were clean, very comfortable, and fully equipped with plates, cutlery, dishwasher, pots and pans and so on. Having said that, you need to pay for bedlinen and towels, and you need to clean afterwards your apartment otherwise there will be a final cleaning fee of EUR 50. Well, this apartment is the perfect for a getaway in the South of France. We've stayed with two kids (7yrs & 5yrs), and the apartment was adequate. The village Gruissan is a 10 min. drive away, the beach is less than 5 minutes by foot and to Narbonne its approximately 30 minutes’ drive. I highly recommend this place for anyone. Well, the apartment needs little touch-ups. Perhaps new mattresses as well as WiFi in the apartments itself.

Our second stay here. Attractive building with all apartments on ground level and surrounded by well maintained gardens of shrubs and trees. Good size pool with sunbeds. Roomy apartment with private south facing terrace. Quiet location. Very short walk to beautiful, huge, sandy beach.

It would be good to have some parasols around the pool.

The young lady at the front desk is very kind and helpful. She found our belonging while verifying our room during our check out and bought them to us. It was highly appreciated, many thanks

huge beach was a few minutes walk, pool was very good, a few cafes and shops for provisions were a few minutes walk, parking was relatively easy on the resort

the room was basic and 'tired' in decor, the terrace was basic, with no view and was surrounded with a high hedge. when I asked there were no alternative apartments, apparently they are all the same.

Fantastic location in beach front. We enjoyed wave sounds from the small private garden. The swimming pool is very big. Nice atmosphere of villas. Kitchen is fully equipped and easy to cook stuff. Suitable for a long stay with a small number of people.

It’s critical that there is no WiFi even though they advertise that it’s available. They have a number of rules written in a strict way which made us quite stressful. There was no towel or bed sheet and we lost a couple of hours to buy them. They should inform the customers in advance or offer a package to rent them for a short term stay. It was also annoying to close the store manually every time you go out. If they request the customers for the security reason, they should install electronic stores instead. The cleanliness is doubtful as the customers clean the accommodation. You need to make an appointment for the check before the checkout time at 10:00.

The reception was not helpful during checkin. I had to pay 300 euro cash directly, because my MasterCard did not workforce deposit.

Had selected accommodation for wifi, but wifi was only available around the (closed due to Covid) swimmingpool sitting outside. I had expected it in the house which I rented, since I indicated my stay was for work.

The clean room and comfortable bed. Pool. Too cold but ok.

Nearest beach was very windy most of the time and water temperature too low. We ended up driving to another beach everyday. Airco is only in the living room. At the end it was find but should be specified. Wifi only works near reception!
