Love the history surrounding Mission Inn Resort. Very good food at the two resort restaurants we dined at. Love the location in the country. Outstanding championship golf courses. Nice spa with good selection of services. The a/c went out in the room that we were assigned to so they upgraded us into a very nice suite. Encouraging to see a resort "do the right thing" to make up for the problem and inconvenience.

The resort buildings are very outdated and in need of substantial updating. (I am an architect, we specialize in golf clubhouses and resorts in Sarasota, FL). The pool and surrounding area is also extremely outdated. The buildings seem to have good bones but appear tired. For the three days that we were there the spa was only open on Saturday with no services offered on Sunday or Monday, we wanted spa services all three days. The resort states that they have a marina and rental boats associated with the resort. The information provided regarding such is inaccurate and the boats were extremely old and beat up. We did not get to spend one day fishing as planned.

Beautiful Tranquil Relaxing

The grounds were beautiful and clean! Most of the front desk staff was helpful when needed. I liked the little touches like free parking, a magnified mirror, Q-tips, water bottles, tea, and coffee. Those added little perks felt welcoming like someone was anticipating my needs.

One staff member at the front desk acted as though my request to move my room was unreasonable, but the resort was not full. I simply made a mistake when booking. The other front desk clerk made me more at ease with the decision to move. I was grateful for her friendliness after a long travel day in addition to it being the right choice for the move. I plan on staying here again.

The property itself is beautiful. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the course with a little balcony which we loved. The bed was so comfy and place was clean. The staff was very nice.

We got lost trying to find our building because the directions given to us were a little complicated.

The property is gorgeous. There are several restaurants on site, as well as different amenities. I’m planning to come back just to stay on the property and relax.

Nothing. I love that it was a little secluded, but not too far away from towns like Mount Dora or Downtown Clermont.
