The room was okay

The customer service was awful. We had the cleaning crew barge in without knocking while my wife was getting dressed. I informed the manager at the front desk and she told us we would be getting Hilton reward points and a discount on our valet parking which we received neither one. I called back to see if we were getting those things and the person on the phone said she never heard of that incident and I needed to speak with the manager that promised those things. I was extremely disappointed in the outcome.

We liked the room, the breakfast has good options and tasted great. We went the to rooftop to enjoy the view and the restaurant upstairs. Kasey, at the front desk and Steve, the maintenance person, went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable as we had multiple issues with our first room.

We had many issues with the room, etc - first one of our keys did not work so I went to the front desk and was issued aa new one - that one did not work either. Kasey, along with Steven the maintenance person, brought up new keys - they worked. In the meantime, the bathroom sink would not drain nor did the bathtub, in addition, the thermostat would not go below 74 degrees and the room was hot and stifling. We were texting the front desk the whole time and they did offer to change our room but, at first, we declined as we were already dressed for bed. After the issue with the temperature not cooling the room, we agreed to move rooms. Kasey (from the front desk) and Steve (the maintenance person) were wonderful and helped us move to a new room. In the new room the TV controller for the bedroom was missing. Steve brought us another one. The rest of the night was uneventful and peaceful. When we requested our car the next morning, it was raining and when our car was brought out it was not parked under the overhang and the valet did not volunteer to move the car to under the overhang so we could put our luggage in the trunk without getting wet. It was just frustrating, inconvenient and wet. Also I just looked at my bill and I was charged an extra $6 plus tax for wine. I drink margaritas (not wine) and have the receipt for that charge. I am now going to have to call and dispute that charge. We did learn that the hotel was new and working out the bugs. It is just a shame we got a room with lots of issues.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton always have the best breakfast.

The hotel lobby and room itself were very nice! Location was great!

When it came to the important part, which was the bed to sleep on; very very firm. Way too hard for mine and my husband’s liking and I’m sure most people would agree. It felt like a toddler mat to on the floor at school for them to take a nap. The pillows went completely flat after a hour of use, so zero neck support. The shower products were out. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be working properly. On our morning of check out house keeping knocked on our door three times before we could leave, which was way too much! We struck up a conversation with other guest there and they were experiencing some of the same issues as us.

The complementary happy hour drinks and food were poor quality. Did not even offer sparking water! There was an up charge for most drinks. Hotel stay was overpriced.
