Excellent location on Kure Beach. Clean and comfortable. Food, drink, pier, and beach within 100 yards of room

Check in and check out were very quick and simple. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was clean. Room was as described. Stove was very touchy and did not heat right.

Love the location, unfortunately we were there for only one night so I picked Cityview . Our room on the third floor had molded popcorn ceilings. Moldy smell as soon as you opened the door. Urine smell on the balcony outside of our room. The BEDS are horrible my back hurts . Pool is falling apart . Just a yucky experience. I would give it a chance if it’s ocean view MAYBE.

The view of the ocean and pier are beautiful but the hotel is outdated and 2 star at best. The staff were very nice.

Arrived at the property to check in to be told our reservation was not available. Apparently someone from Expedia had tried to call me that morning but did not leave a message. There was no indication in my Expedia App that there was an issue. The motel worked hard to find a new place for us to stay, but it was in another town and not across the street from family we were vacationing with. Expedia did not properly compensate for any of the issues they caused by initially over booking the hotel and showing they in no way cared about reaching out to us ahead of time to fix the issue.

Oceanfront hotels always have a lot of wear and tear, but if you can overlook that aspect this is a great place to stay. Super convenient to the beach, and the pool was small but excellent. Within walking distance of the free to walk on pier and several restaurants. We will definitely stay again when we come back.

It was a wonderful day at this hotel. I do wish I knew it was no silverware or plates but overall, it was a great trip.

Location was oceanfront, and our room had a great view. We've stayed at a few different beach locations and this spot at least gave true ocean view when advertised - not a side of building balcony where you can lean over and see some of the beach. Kure Beach in general seems to be more of a low-key slower paced area as compared to somewhere like Myrtle Beach. Overall, for the price I think the stay was worth what was paid but we will probably look at a nicer property in a more active area for our next trip.

The staff is really friendly and will do anything to make the stay comfortable for you. The only complaint is that the A/C is a window unit and is very loud. Makes sleeping challenging when it’s turning on / off all night long.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights in the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. You can’t beat the location for proximity to the beach, pier and restaurants in Kure. It’s affordable and the staff is very nice and helpful. I would stay here again! If you’re looking for something luxurious go somewhere else and also spend a lot more! It was great for our needs.

The quintessential beach dive motel. We loved it. The staff were wonderful and cheerful! 1 block from restaurants, the pier, ice-cream and a cute little coffee shop. The Italian restaurant was primo! It was unfortunate that a family of 8 with 6 kids moved in above us on day 2. It was like listening to gorillas wrestling all day and until about midnight each night. I would imagine they snuck the 6 kids in because there is no way 8 people would fit in such a small room. We let it ride because we spent so little time in the room, but it would have been awful on a rainy day. They also spilled food and drinks all over our things when standing on their balcony. Again not the motels fault but it did impact our stay and caused us to leave earlier than planned. All in all, i would stay again, but would request a 3rd floor room for sure!!

The pool was very cloudy each day we were there and we noticed the birds taking dips in the pool aas well....

Housekeeping instructions posted in the room were incorrect and I was told they were a bit controversial. Room was not ready. We were sent with the keys to find a dirty room. It was very run down overall. AC was not the best

Great location, beautiful beach. Pool, picnic and grilling area are terrific. Will definitely be back.

We stopped and stayed the night on our way home. It's your basic little motel in front of the ocean. The room was clean and had a little kitchenette. The linens were clean too. Pool is small but good enough to relax in. The beach is less 100 yards away! Some parts of the motel are a little dated or needs some touch up work. All in all for the price, being right on the beach, and within walking distance to food. We will be back for sure!

Filthy, filthy, filthy! Room overlooked a beaten up parking lot. Very sketchy. Was a stick used to keep the slider from being pried open. Stick wasn’t even long enough to keep it from being opened about 8”. Unreal. Never again. I did get a refund, however!

The right larger burner would warm up, but not get to the proper heat. We had to modify our cooking plan and do everything on the smaller burner only. We really enjoyed our room, location of the hotel to the beach and the pool. We loved a lifeguard and very visible flag warnings and the pier being so close! We will definitely be back, BUT, we paid a lot of money for our time there and expect everything to be in good working order! Also utensils were minimal, no spatula to flip a pancake or hamburger!

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The room could use a scrubbing andnsome paint. There are no elevators, so the steps were a lot after a day on the beach. Our stay was relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed our first trip to Kure!

Great place

Over all we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was super friendly. We stayed in the poolside suite, it was clean. Had everything in the kitchenette that you’d need if you were planning to cook there. My only complaints are the freezer/fridge smelled strongly of fish. Not sure if maybe someone previously stored fish in there. And the bathtub needs replaced, it felt very soft as if we were going to fall through at any moment.. Other than that our stay was great. Family enjoyed the pool, it was clean. Great easy access to the beach. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to restaurants, Ice cream shop and convenience store. We would definitely stay again.
