beds were ultra firm. I like a firm bed but these were too hard…very uncomfortable. Breakfast (included) was very so-so

We arrived early, that was no problem. The receptionist was very friendly. Our room, for 3 persons, was big. The hotel is in a new building in the old part of the city. A COOP is close by. Buonconveto is a beautiful little place.

The roofterrace could be used better. Could be a nice place to sit in the evening.

Modern hotel in the centre of the town. Excellent staff, especially reception.

The hotel receptionist went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, including insightful knowledge about the local restaurants, and preparing sandwiches in lieu of my needing to leave before breakfast the following morning. Bicycles were allowed in the room, which makes the stay comfortable knowing an expensive bike is secure.

Everything about my stay was top notch.

The location

The solarium is completely abandoned. The mattress was very hard. Too much lights in the room in the morning.

The location, the friendly receptionist who spoke Italian slowly so that I could understand when we both could have spoken English with ease.

First impression and warm welcome by the staff was great. The recommendation of a restaurant linked to the hotel in the town was also great. Great location for Via Francigena. Simple room, I would have been very happy had my room been within the actual hotel.

I was surprised to follow the lovely staff member from the reception through the corridor, out the back door of the hotel to my room. My room was not within the actual hotel building itself. I was told the back door to the hotel was locked at midnight and the gate to access the street was always unlocked. Someone tried to get into my room at about 11.30pm. it really scared me. yes, it could have been a mistake but there were only 3 outdoor rooms. I did try to phone the emergency reception number but the person ran away. I did message on bookingcom, no one has responded. I did speak to a female member of staff in the morning who said she would inform the owner, I have never had a response. Photos show my door, backdoor and gate to the street. Although I turned the heating off, the towel rail was burning hot The room was uncomfortably hot. I opened my window but did not feel safe doing this for very long.
