Lovely hosts. Comfortable small B&B in a quiet location. Breakfast is big and very nice. Arcachon is a beautiful place to visit.

We were given the blue room which was small with no room for even a chair, but OK for a short stay

Very well kept and far removed from the corporate hotels that we sometimes stay in. A little quirky but clean with a comfy big bed.

There is no parking so it’s on street and can be a distance from the hotel if the nearby beach is busy.

A small cozy hotel located few steps from a beach and within walking distance to the town center. Good service, exceptional breakfast, comfortable bed.

Found a cat on our bed when we returned at the end of the day. Reception changed the pillow cases but a bit of a shock as hotel policy is no animals...

Rooms a little small but stylish

Great location, good shower, friendly male receptionist at check-out.

Extremely rude and unfriendly female blonde receptionist on arrival who made it clear she was very unhappy that we had turned up early at 14.30 (check-in is at 15.30). Small, dark, oppressive bedroom with poor lighting and nowhere to put on makeup overlooking a building site.

The welcome at breakfast (not included) by the lady was very good and service was excellent.

We did not find the staff very welcoming when we arrived and not very helpful during our stay. Be aware that parking is on the main road and could be some distance away on a one way system. There isn't any bar facility. Breakfast is not included, charged extra at approx. £15 per head and is a continental breakfast only and you so not get to help yourself. The room is on the small side and we think we were given one of the larger rooms with balcony!! Lighting in the very dark room is extremely poor especially in the bathroom, it is almost impossible to put make up on. The hotel is approximately 1.5km from the centre and nearest restaurants etc.

our room only had a balcony (which we loved!) but to windows to leave open for a cross breeze so you had to sleep with the door open - other bedrooms had other set up options though

A lovely, clean room. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. We will definitely be going back to stay longer next year. The couple running the hotel were a delight and very helpful.

Incredibly small room. We had an issue with a main light in the bedroom not turning off when we returned from dinner. Unfortunately unlike a real hotel, there are no front of house staff available outside of a very small window in the afternoon. We called the numbers provided and no one answered, we then had an angry man banging on our bedroom door. He proceeded to bang around the room, flicking switches and playing with the fuse board, he said little to nothing, got the light off and then stormed out banging the door. I have never been treated so appalling as a paying guest in my life. To be subject to aggressive and angry behaviour from a stranger in a small confined space, I didn't feel safe. The next day he didn't apologise just made some excuse about the light fitting being loose. We paid a lot of money for a "luxury" stay, the hotel is not luxury, it's a nice B+B or hostel, it's not a luxury/boutique hotel but more over the staff are absolutely appalling. Would never go back.
