We are very disappointed! After years of being a great customer of booking.com I don’t think I’ve ever complained once about a property but this was the worst way to end the year. We immediately realized that we couldn’t even sleep in the same bed together to start the new year because it wasn’t even a queen size! The first time ever in almost 20 years…This was very aggravating and disgusting. As soon as we walked in, the smell of cheap cleaners makes me nauseous and come to find out that’s what they used in the room that we were put in. To our surprise we also saw a welcome card addressed to someone else. Obviously the room wasn’t ready for us or even inspected by property management or housekeeping. You also will be able to see pictures of 2 full beds with linen completely wrinkled to the point that we had to sleep on top of the sheets because we didn’t even know if the sheets were clean. Pillows were without pillow protectors, no additional pillows, no blankets! The bathroom had 2 big bottles of hand wash already used by previous guests, absolutely anti hygienic and also previously used mini toiletries. The doors and tub were disgustingly dirty and showed splash patterns of vomit or urine on the walls. Also the room description said it had a hot tub but the tub didn’t even have jets! We have pictures of the tub and the website description of course. The carpet had multiple stains and not even mentioning the windows or furniture. Cleaning items and filters were inside our closet , instead of robes and slippers for the guests. We have stayed in different Ritz Carlton properties around the world and they all provide with these services. The room didn’t even have 2 simple bottles of water! There were chemical cleaning supplies next to cooking pans and extremely moldy pipes under the sink. Absolutely outrageous!
