Friendly owner

These rooms are in a private house that has been converted to let out 3 extra rooms for guests. We rented two rooms, a single and a double. Before we arrived I send a message through asking for a disabled access room if at all possible. Didn't care if that was a double or the single simply makes things easier for my disabled family member. Got a message back that there was a room with garden access that would be reserved for us. This did not happen. Both our rooms were upstairs with someone else using the downstairs room instead. While able to walk this made things awkward as we had someone with a broken back and also needing an ankle replacement... What if he'd actually been in a wheelchair? Rooms both had mold in them as well which has given both of us health issues in the past. Bathroom was very dirty, mold again as well,to the point that I used my gym membership so we could shower! Neither of us would have used any of the facilities if we had a choice. Breakfast is included but cereal options only, we decided to go out to get proper breakfast. No tea or coffee access in the rooms, with the only one available locked in another room overnight. All in all we decided to leave a day early, driving home late at night for all the reasons above. Oh and might want to let people know to pay by bank transfer as it was pure luck we had the option available. Only one of us could do that on the day, not everyone uses their phones for that .

The floor was dirty Under the bed was plaster bits everywhere There was skid marks in the toilet There was two doors in my room one with a lock which was pointless as the other door has no lock so anyone can walk in. Have to hand in front door key when go out so have to knock to get back in Spiders was in my room Room smelt strongly of damp No kettle No toilet roll No cups Given a dirty glass when asked for a glass Nothing but a bed and wardrobe in room
