Dana, concierge is very accommodating. Other staffs are welcoming. Lobby was very festive and clean. The room offers a great view. Didn’t stay long but when we enters our room we feel very comfortable and able to rest well.

I requested a view of the lake upon checkin but was denied even though I was willing to pay extra. I used Expedia for my reservation and that was their excuse.

We were underwhelmed by the breakfast staff. It took a long time to get syrup - all bottles were empty. We had to tell the young man with a red plaid shirt that the tray had no eggs left - he took forever to bring more eggs. He had a “couldn’t care less attitude”. Perhaps he should be reassigned; hospitality is not his forte.

The property is very nice. We had a great view of Lake Lucille from our balcony and were able to watch some water planes take off from the lake. I wish we were staying longer. The room itself was fairly modern, clean and comfortable. We booked just for one night because we ended up staying too late in Anchorage to make the drive to Fairbanks.

I gave a 3 star because it is not air conditioned. The price is too high for that lack of amenity. The food was great but it was an independent restaurant the Chop House. Expensive but worth it. The hotel gives you a fan, but you have to leave your balcony door open.

My room had a few food crumbs on the couch but we didn’t use the couch. Otherwise everything else was pretty good!

Nice comfortable room; good breakfast. We also enjoyed the in-house restaurant. We thought the self service laundry a bit pricey. Enjoyed our stay

We adored this place! The beds are super comfy… it’s all clean. New towels. And the view is spectacular . Grass, trees… lake.. seaplanes landing and docking. Quiet. Lighted sky all day and all night, too!

Beautiful lake with Chugach Mountains in the background. Up-to-date and clean.

The back deck looking over the water was beautiful. It was so peaceful sitting out there. I felt like I was on a cloud in bed.
