Very friendly staff. Loved the patriotic themed artwork throughout the hotel. Clean room with small fridge and microwave, flat-screen TV cable channels. We were given a handi-capable room with a large open shower and a "lower" bed. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, almost "tilting" toward the headboard. The shower head was handheld and awkwardly mounted in the corner of the shower. Plenty of hot water though! The free "continental" breakfast consisted of flavored muffins, coffee and a variety of juices. Overall this was a good place to stay for a week, relatively inexpensive, close to shopping and restaurants.

The ladies at the front desk were very kind and helpful. If it wasn’t for them, I would have given a worse review. My room smelled horribly of old urine and mold, and it appeared to be coming from the air conditioner. The bed was really hard and I could feel the springs in the mattress. The refrigerator kept my food cold overnight so that part was great and the shampoo and conditioner smelled nice. The towels were clean and the linen on the bed appeared to be clean. The quality of the room overall old and rundown with cracks separating the sink from the wall and the tub from the wall. There was a Cracker Barrel restaurant behind the hotel so that was convenient and I had a nice meal. Would definitely not stay at this hotel again.

When I arrived I requested to view the room because from the lobby and their loitering clientele, I IMMEDIATELY knew this was not what I had in mind. ..I walked up 3 fights of stairs to view this dingy extremely DATED room and immediately requested a refund on my reservation. My request was denied due to cancellation policies. Needless to say forfeited the money paid for the room and booked at another hotel. There was NO way I was going to sleep in such deplorable conditions.
