I really loved my stay at Banana Bay!

Everything was good except their breakfast in a box, almost frozen. Kind of gross especially when you don't like what's in the box.

Disappointing experience. Left early because bed was so old the springs were coming up. This place needs a serious renovation. Room was pretty filthy and front desk never answered phone. When I went to check out no one was there at 715am during business hours. Won’t go back

Well Located hotel, rooms are comfy, AC excellent, good mattress and clean duvet, pretty bathroom. Nice view to the Marine. We met Al the manager very nice guy supervising everything.

Friendly staff 👍

The place is wonderful, just a few details that would bring it closer to perfection. The bathrooms should be cleaned more thoroughly, the ceiling fan has not been cleaned for a long time and was very dusty, and finally the gardening is really a shame that it is abandoned.

The property is a bit run down. People that work there are extremely friendly though. I’m still waiting for my xtra deposit and called front desk no answer.

We stayed in the airstream and it was super cute The pool area was nice. There is not a beach to swim at, but a super cute spot for a night or two.

The room was updated and clean for the most part. Downhill from there. The worst kept pool of any hotel that I have ever stayed at. I would not get into hot tub. Tiles broken off with bare concrete and very cloudy water. The “boxed” breakfast was ok once but after that it was terrible. We made the best of a bad situation for 3 of the 4 nights but could not take it anymore and left the Keys one day early. That says a lot in itself. Upon notifying of early departure desk staff was nonchalant as if they had heard all this before. They charged me 75$ for late check out before 2pm. I just had to turn and leave. I had enough. DO NOT stay here. It was probably very nice once and would have potential again with monetary investment and proper management

It was very clean. The rooms was nice. The pool and hot tub was amazing. Staff was very nice.

Little deceiving on property details does not have a beach. The tiki bar was never open closed every day. Breakfast could be better.

start from the free breakfast - it was boxed with the frozen items, the third morning the half of the breakfast box items were missing, the area looks very unkept, there is no functioning bar or restaurant in the area. We had to pay a resort fee per day even though there was nothing to resemble a resort. Rooms were clean and well airconditioned. Also, there was a pool in nice size, no towel service by the pool.

For some reason the door leading outside from our building was jammed open by the staff, making it so the whole building was sweltering hot, and therefore our A/C set to 61°F couldn't even keep up, and made it both a bothersome constant noise and uncomfortably warm in our room.

This is our second time staying here. It will probably be our last. We were in building 3, it seemed older and in need of upkeep. Ice machine did not work. Bed was nice and room was nice. The pool is wonderful, pool area could use some clean up and there were lots of dead vegetation laying around the resort. , they needed landscaping. BUT the resort fee was ridiculous and the " breakfast " was a boxed breakfest with a cold folded over egg, some yogurt, a few muffins. There was cereal and some bread available in the breakfast room.. It was disappointing to say the least. The lady at the check in was a little rude when we arrived..

Beds were ok. Air conditioning was horrible. Didn't work well and super noisy. Location is ok. If it was a $200/ night hotel I wouldn't complain but for the price I have higher expectations than what we received.

Our air conditioner was just not cutting it. We spent our entire trip sweating.. inside. No fan in the bathroom so the humidity was stifling. The room was very clean and the grounds were beautiful.
