Check in was easy. Staff were friendly friendly! Property was an excellent surprise .. We had a little bungulo with cold ac, warm water, refrigerator and clean. Beach and pool was easily accessible and water was clear. Close to downtown for ferry to chit and chat. It was a quiet and relaxing time. The restaurants serve good food and very convenient.

The bed gave me bruises by sleeping in it. No amount of alcohol could have made me able to sleep on this slab of concrete. Also I was not told that I wasn't staying on the beach.. and there was an woman at splash that just didn't like life and it showed.

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Hideaways! I was concerned that I picked the right island, and the right resort for our first time in the Caribbean. If we had to do it all over again, we would gladly pick Hideaways in Exuma for sure. We loved the free shuttle into town, the two great beaches within walking distance, the pool, onsite restaurant, along with others within walking distance. The staff is so welcoming, and helpful. There are so many other perks like free kayaks, swim fins beach towels...
We love to snorkel, and the beach right in front the resort has a row of huge rocks that the fish and turtles love. Gorgeous!!!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Hideaways! I was concerned that I picked the right island, and the right resort for our first time in the Caribbean. If we had to do it all over again, we would gladly pick Hideaways in Exuma for sure. We loved the free shuttle into town, the two great beaches within walking distance, the pool, onsite restaurant, along with others within walking distance. The staff is so welcoming, and helpful. There are so many other perks like free kayaks, swim fins beach towels...

The property is very clean organized right next to the beach. But there’s only one restaurant and it’s really very crowded. SERVICE is very slow. I wish there was more stuff around.

The property had everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. My only complaint is that they should have more beach loungers, chairs, and umbrellas for the beach. But other than that is was great!

I just wished that the check in could have been a little earlier than 4pm. I mean, if the room is already clean, why not allowing for an early check in? The Breakfast Area is nice but the service is not that great. They take too long to even greeting you.

The location is great, the reception staff is outstanding, but the kitchen staff needs to be re-trained about time conscious customer service, good manners, and empathy, it is unacceptable that the food takes 1,5 hours to be served. The hotels.com advertising is misleading, the hotel is divided in two zones: one by the beach and the other one on the other side of the main street, we were placed on the other side of course in a room where is almost impossible to rest, the floor is wooden made and you can hear every step the neighbors take. The hot water on the shower is non-existent. On the 2nd day we didn't leave the place because all hotels were full. We spent 5 nights, and they never serviced nor cleaned the room. We understand the island related constraints for business but for the price they are charging many things could be way better or at least improved. On the other hand Exhumas Island is a paradise, plenty of beaches and places to go and explore. We definitively are going back but not to this hotel.

Hotel installations and personal are good. The main lowlights was the cleanning room services, me and my girlfriend stay a whole week and if we dont ask for the cleanning room service they dont provide it.
However the worst was the restaurant. Delays of 1:30 hs for a pizza, bad service, missing orders and bad actitude of the people who serve.

The rooms were very beachy, clean and convenient to Georgetown and the airport. We were just here for an overnight stay but they had lots of water activities for the guests

We enjoyed our 8 day stay at Hideaways. Beaches and views were great, water amazing. We found if you are dining at any establishment service is very slow like most things on the island. If you’re looking for a slow beach vacation this is the place for you. Hats off to our fav bartender Akeem you are the best.

Room was ok, a little overpriced for what you get. arrived a day late due to freak freeway road closure making us late for our flight. Since booked thru Expedia and low no cancel rate, wouldn't give us any adjustments. Was hoping hotel would reduce resort fees since wasn't there one night and never used cleaning services for the whole week, but manager wouldn't offer anything.

LOVED the peace and quiet of this property!! We had a little bungalow in the back and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant had a variety of options for all 3 meals and they were all GREAT! There was some construction going on, creating more places to stay but it wasn’t loud at all and the workers were all so nice and friendly. My only suggestion would be to have maybe a little area where we could buy a few snacks without having to take a taxi into town. Other than that, fantastic!!

If you want to have breakfast in Georgetown and go to another activity it may be a bit difficult, however you can usually find a taxi ro take you. It was nice to have breakfast at Splash included, it was basic, but good, more fruits would be nice. The beach is fine, but it disappears at high tide.
