The staff have always been fantastic here, any issues, they are right onto them and done efficiently.

An older traditional Balinese style accomodation. Very friendly family accomodation. Delicious freshly cooked breakfasts and accomodating staff. It was surprisingly quiet considering its position on Legian street, close by to night clubs etc.
The water pressure was very low and hot water took ages to come through. this is our only feedback to the venue.

Very old run down room that need a complete renovation. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The grounds were very nice but room was dirty and falling apart. Plus after parking my bike in the wrong spot the security guard said 'f#%k you' after i questioned him. Wasn't happy with the managers response either who almost justified it with no apology. Not at all worth the money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I have stayed at Matahari bungalows 5 times with my 9 year old son we started going there 4 years ago and as always we are welcomed by the staff like we’re family. Hotel is very clean and the pool and Garden are very well maintained will return in September David and Dennis

Always a pleasure staying here. I have been visiting this hotel for over 20 years. Have always had a lovely holiday with clean rooms and really friendly staff. Service is great.

The breakfast could include local dishes such as nasi goreng. In general, great place to stay. Great pool. Staff are friendly. Relaxed place walking distance from the hustle bustle.

We were upgrade to room 39 due to my husband having knee issues which was really great, however this was a very noisy room due to the connecting door.

Wow what a beautiful resort. It’s a credit to the manager. My room was super clean and daily serviced. All the staff are so friendly and happy. One day it was raining and I had a few bags, this lovely guy helped me and carried them all the way to my room on the 3rd floor. I didn’t know at the time it was the manager of the resort. Breakfast had lots of choices. The grounds are beautiful and maintained daily. Thank you to all the staff for making my holiday enjoyable. When returning to Bali this will be my choice to stay

At first our AC was not working, so they moved us into another room and were fixing the AC in our okd room the next day, which was great.
Location is excellent and, si ce our last stay, the area has gotten more lively, but you are still able to escape at Matahari.

Great hotel tucked away from the main street but close to everything as well. Couldn't hear any traffic noise, staff were always friendly and helpful.
