Very grand home of 1890. I was in Winona for a class reunion. The Alexander Mansion was very clean with vintage decor. Breakfast was served at a large dining room table where we could chat with the other guests. Breakfast was a 5 course meal with each course perfect in presentation and taste. Richard as an excellent host and was prepared for all our needs. Will definitely come back!

The mansion is a beautiful historic property. Richard is a most knowledgeable and gracious host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The attention to detail is impeccable, and the breakfast was beyond delicious. Everything was perfect! We will definitely return. It's a true gem.

The only negative is the white wine should be chilled during the wine social. Each day they white wine was warm. However, if that's the only negative, then it's a WIN. Winona is a wonderful town and it's great to explore when the college students are not yet in attendance. The B&B is full of history and Richard gives a wonderful story of the history. Loved our time and visit. The inn owners were great and extremely friendly and caring. The sit down breakfast with a full course of breakfast items and dessert was amazing. The entire place feels like Downton Abbey has been moved over to Winona! We felt we got dropped back to a prior century with all the quaint touches. All in all - quite an experience!

You start the day with an incredible breakfast which includes a dessert & end the day with a nightcap & piece of chocolate waiting for you in your room. Felt special staying here.
