This room met its purpose as a quick stop between Santa Fe and Denver, allowing us to enjoy a brief stop at the Great Sand Dunes NP. Nothing was exceptional but nothing was terrible. It is a rather old but remodeled property, but it definitely shows its age. I would have a appreciated in-room coffee as I'm and early riser. I will give a shout out to the tasty free breakfast in the adjacent restaurant. It was freshly cooked and much better than a typical buffet found in most economy hotels.

I booked based on the rating. I believe rating was inflated by the diner breakfast. The breakfast was better than most. I paid an additional $3.25 for our upgrades.
The mattresses were terrible and the pillows were a joke. The towels should be burned.
Spend another $25 and stay somewhere else.

The condition of the main room was excellent accept I could hear the people in the next room. The bathroom was poor. The toliet clogged and the shower was weak and had very minimal hot water.

It was such a cute little redone motel. Clean and comfortable and very convenient walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants.

I really liked how we were given the complimentary coupons to eat at the restaurant. Thats important when we're travelling as a family.

Dunes Inn is a wonderful place to stay! Note: romm 109 toilet is unanchored and loose. Two anchoring screws/nuts need to be tightened.

The property is in downtown. Rooms werr quite spacious. There was no ventilation system in the bathroom, that was the only issue we found in the rooms.
