Our stay was ok. The cleanliness was less the subpar. Everyone in my family has blond hair and we found black hair on the shower walls and facial hair in the handle of the sink. The bedding was thin and my girls were cold most of the night. The hot tub was out of order and so was the steam room.

Had a pool that said it was open til 10 pm. We wanted to swim at 9:30 pm but pool was not open.

My granddaughters and I were very disappointed that the hot tub was broken/closed and the indoor pool was too cold to be at all comfortable. The bathtub had several long black hairs in it and was not clean enough to use.

When I first arrived I had a reservation. I didn’t arrive till around 5:30pm. The front desk lady had no customer service told me they didn’t have any rooms ready. I said umm check outs are 11 check ins are 4 and no rooms ready and she just said no like I was bothering her. So I asked how long before one would be ready and she said oh about an hour and a half to two hours I said you’re kidding right no she says again and that’s it. Very rude didn’t seem to care at all that I didn’t have a room ready nor did a few other people so I went down to the golden nugget, which is what two blocks and I asked that lady if they had any rooms and I told her my situation she’s like what’s your last name so I told her she looked me up on the screen and said oh your room is ready I said the girl just told me there was no rooms and the golden nugget lady said it was. Sorry, get back to back up the hill again tell the front desk lady that I went down to the Golden Nugget and they said my room is ready then she finally asked what is my last name because she didn’t the first time, so she was like yeah a couple rooms just opened not very happy with that girl whatsoever and a few others did not like her as well. Definitely would be a better place without her at the desk. Everything else was great!!! And all the other workers i encountered especially the cleaning guy. He was the best I had to go to the gas station down the street to get more cash so I could run back up there to give him a tip

I did like the quiet because it was away from the other casinos. The pool was awesome but the front desk lied and said that the pool and hot tub were operational and the hot tub was closed. I thought there was a continental breakfast but I was mistaken. We went off property for breakfast.

Hall way spelt like pot on second floor, air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep. Bed was not very comfortable. Needed a receipt for other room we had and no omre could find it.

I didn’t stay. Looked at the rooms, was unimpressed. Hotel was rundown and very dated. The young girl (Joey) at the front desk, was very professional and kind. She refunded the stay.

The view from the hotel was wonderful. The road going up to the motel was in poor condition. Otherwise it was a nice day and convenient.

When we checked in and asked about the pool and hot tub, we were told the hot tub was broke and had been for a long time. He added the pool was warm and the exercise facility was open. The hot tub was full of brown water and the sauna was padlocked. The exercise room was very dirty.

The Gold King Mountain in has the most comfortable mattress I've ever had when staying in a hotel. I did have a problem with the fact that the tub/shower was not clean. Overall I would recommend this location as it is centrally located to all of the Cripple Creek locations.

I called the day before and the answering service at sister property said the pool was working. Check in clerk said pool and hot tub has been closed for 5 days.

Hotel was clean and check in was seamless. Every employee encountered was friendly. Lobby smelled like weed every time we returned to the hotel. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Beds were a little soft and squeaky. Overall, it was a good stay. Wish the pool and hot tub had been operable.

Need to replace the shiwe liner, it smelled. Need to replace the broken window. Overall was the price was right.
