Stairs were hard to maneuver

This place was a great location overall for exploring Door County. Only 10-15 minutes to any of the other towns! Loved the location in Fish Creek too. Walkable to many coffee shops, bakeries, breakfasts, bars, restaurants and shops. Overall, the facility was well maintained and comfortable. The only downfall, in my opinion, was the bed. It was hard and no cushion on top.

Wonderful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was in a quiet area and I loved the lounge chairs and cornhole game set up on the lawn outside our room.

We stayed at the Main Street Motel for 3 nights on a recent trip to Fish Creek. Our room was big and very clean. It was quiet and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and pier in Fish Creek.

The service was very friendly and our room was large and clean. The mattress was a little uncomfortable, but everything else, including the price will bring me back next time we visit Door County!

A great value, perfect for a late autumn getaway to catch the Door County foliage at peak color. My expectations were low given that the motel's nightly rate was around $40 less than most competitors I researched, but I was pleasantly surprised. My room smelled clean and came furnished with everything I needed for a multi-night stay. Front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. The real selling point for this motel was the location. It's at the end of downtown Fish Creek, nestled between some quaint gift shops and a small wooded area, an easy walk to the best shops, restaurants, and bars in town. The only negative in my experience was air conditioning: the unit in my room emitted an unusual odor and blew only slightly cooled air, so it never reached an ideal temperature for sleeping, and I resorted to leaving my door open for a short time. That said, I had a fantastic time in Fish Creek and would happily stay here again.

Comfortable bed, very clean room

Our stay at the Main Street Motel was lovely. It's on a quiet corner just a couple minutes walk from all the beautiful shops and restaurants in Fish Creek. Beautiful large room. Very clean and comfortable.

The room was not very big but it was very clean and well kept. Location was great. Right in Fish Creek and easy walking distance to most of the shops, etc.

We commented to each other how clean our room was. Very pleased.

The property was in a great location. Plenty of parking. Walked to shopping and dining. PERFECT. Erika, from the hotel staff was so accommodating, and friendly. First time to Door County and will definitely recommend this property. We had a electric vehicle so charging at the hotel was an extra convenience.

The motel is in a great location enabling us to walk to many of our destinations. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the rooms were nice with comfortable beds and the are was quiet. We highly recommend staying here.

The location is fantastic. It’s close to the Fish Creek highlights but the rooms and gardens are quiet.

We love the convenience of the hotel and I will Allen's account. It is very peaceful and being right near Sunset Park makes it better to be able to relax and enjoy the sunshine in the west and night, and the people are extremely nice.

Just a one night stay, last minute get away, very quiet and clean. Would recommend! Convenient for walking downtown!

Needs updating (had a 1950s vibe). Air conditioner was very loud and constantly cycling all night. Bed was comfortable.

Main Street Motel is perfect. Parking is abundant. The place is safe. Stores and restaurants are close and everything in walking distance.
