This may be my #1 hotel location when visiting Petaluma. Close to downtown and next to the 101.

Entrance is in back. Rooms are small, but super clean and updated appliances. Feels brand new - and although they are small rooms, they are just what you need.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Petaluma Hampton Inn for several reasons. We like the building itself , a renovated former silk mill turned into a clean and modern looking hotel. It’s walking distance to downtown Petaluma . And lastly the complimentary breakfast was a bonus .

Located in a former silk mill, the hotel is walking distance from a train station and is in a safe neighborhood. Parking was also easy. Check-in staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious, with brick walls and high ceilings. Shower was nice and I liked how the soaps were in dispensers. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was fresh, and the bartender in the evening was very sweet. There were books in the lobby and lots of tourism brochures. The only downside is that there isn't much in the neighborhood, although I walked to the CVS and the car rental company down the street.

This was a really cool place! We loved the Silk Mill history. Beautiful and comfortable. Everything was really nice. Breakfast was plentiful. We will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

The hotel is beautiful, an old mill. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. It was not very close to restaurants but we had a car, so it wasn’t an issue. We will go back.

The Hampton hotel is in a beautiful building. It’s also an historical building that was an old silk mill.
Absolutely gorgeous brick building . The hotel lobby was very clean. The hallway was very clean and the room was clean and well appointed. I would stay here again. My only gripe is that there wasn’t a swimming pool, which is not a dealbreaker. One member of the staff was not very friendly a middle-aged woman.

It’s a very nice hotel, a refurbished silk factory built in the mid 1800’s. Our room was large, breakfast was included and the staff are great.
