Serenity Bay is a nice place to stay. It is right on the water with a nice dock and there are kayaks and a fishing pole. There is a fire pit (bring your own wood). The place is a nice size and has everything you need while you're there, besides food and toiletries. Restaurants and shops are walkable. It is really quiet and laid back here and this is a good place to hang while you're here.

The host was excellent and extremely patient with me.

The television reception was terrible the refridge was not cold at all shower was pretty good bed was comfortable !!

What an amazing place for the price wow

We didn’t like the noise from the traffic. Myself and 3 other women I talked to got many “no seeum”bug bites which were Very itchy!!! I would advise spraying with bug repellent before sitting outside. On the whole we enjoyed our time there.

Sharon and her husband we're very assessable, accommodating and pleasant during our 2 month stay. Definitely would recommend this place.

Very nice place to stay to explore the Matlacha and Pine Islands. Kayaking and sunsets are beautiful. Expect some road noise even in the back units.

It happened to be a quiet weekend and we enjoyed it by ourselves and loved it! We've stayed at a few places in Matlacha but we were most pleased with Serenity. The view and fishing were great! The room was clean, comfortable and what you expect in Matlacha as far as wall a/c and just being older but its good - it is a cottage on the water for a good price and a low key staycation. We will definitely return!
