The place was spotless and well equipped. We had a wonderful time sitting out on the dock. Looking forward to a return visit.

The home was absolutely beautiful, the fenced in front yard was perfect for allowing your dogs to run free while you catch up on the porch!

I can't say enough about this property! Our family had a great weekend at this lovely home! The house was spotless when we arrived, and we quickly discovered that it had everything we'd need for the weekend. The property manager even had a Christmas tree set up and lit in the family room for our arrival which was unexpected yet so appreciated! It was well-appointed with top-shelf appliances and a beautiful, comfortable interior. We also had everything we needed in terms of cookware and and serveware. We enjoyed sitting at the gazebo on the dock, and the neighborhood was well suited for taking family walks with our daughter's dog. Hat's off to the property manager and the home owner for providing the perfect holiday weekend for us! We would definitely choose this VRBO again.

Quick weekend getaway with my nephew to do some fishing. House was perfect right on the water. Did get a little nervous as we approached the house and saw lake levels extremely low. Luckily our dock had access to water and we had a good time fishing even though the fish weren’t biting.

My husband and I attended an international dog show in Troutman, traveling with our two dogs and granddaughter. I can't begin to describe how nice it was to return after a very long day, to a very well appointed and dog friendly home. The fenced yard was a perfect size, and although we only used two of the bedrooms and the kitchen area, their was plenty of space for a much larger family. We hope to return for a future visit.

We all enjoyed our stay very much. Made good use of the water toys supplied. Also enjoyed a very special day with a rental boat and tube. Soooo much fun. And everyone fell in love with the neighborhood cat, Tom !

My Fiancee and I are looking to relocate to the area and our stay here confirmed our plans. The house and location were first class all the way. Spotless and comfortable home that I would highly recommend

Very nice house with everything you need and everything worked properly. We enjoyed kayaking and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Local restaurants and grocery store close by. We had a wonderful time. Only hiccup was the internet code on the Vrbo docs were not correct. We finally located the correct info in the Welcome Book.

My sister and I shared this house with our families. 7 people total (3 teens) and my 2 dogs. The home was very nice and comfortably fit us all plus it's very pet friendly with a gated front. The house itself is located in a quiet cove off the main lake but a short distance by kayak or jetski to the main open area which was nice. We brought our jetski and were able to drop it within 3 miles of the home and dock it in the back. We had 1 small issue with the refrigerator, Nigel was very responsive and quickly offered to send someone to fix it the following morning but, it wound up resolving itself so there was no need (possible user error). I recommend that you read the welcome book located on the counter-height table in the living room upon arrival. We made the mistake of not doing this right away and wound up driving 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store on days 1 and 2, shame on us! Cell service is spotty but it's a great way to unplug and reconnect with the family. The only two small suggestions that I can offer to make this home perfect are to add a TV in the game room and a Maui mat. We had 2 rainy days during our stay and it would have been ideal for the teens to have their own space to watch movies while playing games, air hockey, etc. Consider adding a Maui mat since many other homes around include one (we borrowed one from a neighbor we befriended and it was super fun!). Other than that, this house is wonderful! We were planning our next stay while we were there :)

The house was perfect for us, was very clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. Our favorite part was hanging out at the dock, both in the water and the covered area. We had a wonderful week here and will definitely return.

This house is a wonderful getaway. It's great for a small to medium sized family. With 3 bedrooms and a basement it has enough room to spread out and not be on top of each other all the time. Great areas like the front porch, the back patio, and the dock are all places to hang out and read a book or just relax and listen to the sounds of nature. The location is pretty remote, down a dirt/gravel road so you really feel like you're away from the city. It's about a 20 minute drive to any shopping or restaurants. It feels very private even though there are a few houses nearby. We loved the kayaks. The place was super dog friendly and our little yorkie felt right at home. The owner has provided many amenities to make the place feel like home. I would highly recommend this house and would consider returning again.

Had a great week staying at this beautiful house on Lake Norman. House was very clean and loaded with everything you could ask for...fully stocked kitchen, books, movies, life vests, kayaks, rowboat, outdoor furniture, covered front porch, patio, fire pit and dock. A huge plus was being able to bring our dogs and very accommodating for them with a fenced front yard and a fenced dog run. Enjoyed kayaking, fishing, sitting on the dock and by the fire pit at night. Very relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Third time staying at this specific property. Never disappoints! Rented pontoon for a day, fished off pier, took kayaks out, went to some great shopping areas, tried out many excellent restaurants, went to amusement park, Carowinds, went to Top Golf, went to state park (very close to property). First time we went to swimming beach area at the park which was surprisingly very nice and free. My husband took his bike and rode at the park almost every morning.

this property was so lovely and secure. The Lake was very low unfortunately, but the weather and accommodations were fabulous. Sig and Rich were wondeful and helpful as to help with tv technology. Highly recommend this spot.

This was a great house house with out 2 french bulldogs. It had a nice fenced in yard for our dogs to run around. Set on the lake with a nice dock and kayaks to use. Unfortunately, we were there for a funeral so we did not get to take advantage of the lake amenities and solo stove. Great communication with Nigel, the property owner. We would stay here again to get to enjoy the lake

Our large family group (8 humans, 1 dog) had an amazing time at this property. The location was perfect, and it was super dog-friendly.

We stayed at this home for 4 days. We found it to be very clean and had all the ammenities one would need. It is somewhat remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Right on the water of Lake Norman. We used the Kayaks and it was beautiful. Very relaxing vacation and we would most certainly go back.
