My stay was amazing! The apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable, and John provided some great restaurant ideas. The chairs are super comfortable, and the soaking tub is great for relaxing. I can't wait to come back in the summer, because the outfoor seating areas look like they'll be amazing when the weather is nicer.

Everything was fantastic. Definitely worth staying again whenever my girlfriend and I want a weekend in North Hampton. Favorite part was the enormous clawfoot tub.

The apartment was perfect for our needs! Well appointed and, my personal favorite, has GREAT reading lamps on both sides of the bed! While it doesn’t necessarily impact your stay, the apartment has been outfitted with gorgeous doors on the large closet and it felt really nice to know that the owners care about making the space very special. Having the owner on site was a big plus for us as I left my key about 20 minutes away and they kindly let me in saving me a long round trip! We stayed in late December, so were unable to use much of the outdoor space, but hope to return and enjoy the gardens and beautiful views. I only gave three stars in the “accuracy of listing” category, but this was entirely due to inaccurate information included by VRBO, and NOT the owners, who are extremely honest and fair.

I was looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay while visiting the area and could not have been happier with my stay. It was comfortable with everything that I needed in a great location that was close to everything that I came to the area for.

The accommodation was lovely and centrally located. John was a great host and met us upon arrival.

Great area and great location -- particularly enjoyed watching the chipmunks from the patio. Great wifi, quiet despite being adjacent to other unit (thick walls!), halfway between Northampton and Easthampton, both worth checking out

We loved it there! Well stocked kitchen -quality items throughout (sharp knives, coffee press, many extras - tea, coffee, condiments) 2 private patios, beautiful gardens, lovely kind host. Very clean. Comfortable bed & pillows. Shower is wonderful - Sonos sound system & dual shower heads- great experience. Owner went about & beyond meeting us in driveway at night in rain - we felt very welcome.

Not luxurious, but a clean, comfortable, quiet cottage on two mostly-mowed grassy acres. Great linens and a very comfortable queen bed. The owners, Jim and John, are friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Their dog Toffee was a perfect companion to our mini-goldendoodle Ollie, and they enjoyed daily romps around the property. Easy drive to downtown N’hampton. Would definitely stay with these folks again, but would request the bigger unit next time. Perfect spot for a western Mass base or just a relaxed, laid back vacation.

The best short term rental I've ever had. Down home and well set-up. A great sense of privacy and very beautiful grounds. I had a bunny grazing outside my back door & birds! Singin' their little hearts out. Where I live there's lots of crows croaking but these birds sang beautifully, not a croak to be heard. Beautiful trees, a patch of forest and far enough from the road to keep traffic noise down. They have a lovely garden & shared their bounty with me. Fantastic hosts! I was dealing with a problem & they were incredibly helpful. While I was there a beautiful rock wall was created right outside my window, not a trace of disturbance--they were very good about that--but very cool to be able to watch. If you like rocks that's an extra bonus, lots of rocks around including very cool looking fossils.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time staying with John while I was attending reunion at Smith. The bed was very comfortable. Loved both the kitchen and the shower. Heat pump perfect for both heat and AC. Thank you for being so welcoming.

Very nice small property. Thoughtful owner met us upon arrival with a flashlight to guide our way in . Small Kitchen was fully adequate for me to cook my take-to for the Thanksgiving Dinner at family. Spa bathroom, beautiful garden, quiet country setting make this a unique and charming stay. 2 special notes; uneven surface steps outside to consider for anyone with special needs of balance or gait, and copper soaking tub restricted to water only, no salts, botanical oils etc. permitted to enrich your soak. A small accommodation to an otherwise lovely stay.

The owner greeted us when we arrived. Everything was neat and clean. The owner showed us around and then left. Unfortunate we had something come up at home and had to leave sooner than we wanted to. Our time there was very comfortable. We would rent it again.

Our first venture staying outside our home since the pandemic and it was simply perfect. Location is ideal - set back so no road noise. Beautifully landscaped with gorgeous plants; 1.5 miles from either Northampton or Easthampton. Bed was very comfortable. The open shower and copper soaking tub made an already sweet stay that made much more special. John and Jim were excellent hosts.

Fabulous studio w luxurious bathroom and an incredible piece of nature that surrounds you. Will happily recommend to visitors from outside the area.

I needed a covid safe place for a solo retreat. Bamboo was a perfect option providing everything I needed but mostly solitude. My host was terrific with plenty of advice for food, etc. Thank you for the big dose of sanity.

Bamboo is nestled in the middle of a large property with gardens, woods, and flowering trees. The bathroom is a very large "wet room" complete with 2 shower heads and a copper soaking tub. I appreciated that the owners follow CDC guidelines (and more), keeping guests safe from the Covid virus. I can finally travel safely again!

Great people and a great stay

This was a great trip for my wife and I. The space was very clean and super zen!

Wonderful.

John's place was perfect for what we needed. The room itself is standard, one (quite firm) queen bed (bring a foam topper if you have any joint problems) 2 comfortable chairs as well as a small eating table for two. The bathroom is the real reason we or anyone is probably drawn to this place. Being 4 months pregnant, I was desperate for a soaker tub and it certainly did not disappoint! Allowing our pup was also a big plus for us. We don't normally rent from owners who reside attached to the unit, however John and his crew were no bother at all and he was there to greet us for check in and show us around. It's important to note, they do not have a TV at this location, and no board games or cards to use either, which we were hoping for. But seeing as how we were weren't there often, it didn't become a problem, but good for future renters to know. They do offer wifi as well as the use of their Sonos music system through Napster, all free via the app, so we were able to have music going throughout our stay. We took advantage of the full kitchen which was nice, and drinking our coffee overlooking the bamboo in the back yard was quite peaceful.

It was exactly as described. John was there to greet us and show us around. Location was great.
