I had made a reservation at this property through booking.com. I arrived at the property around 1am and the person at reception said that they could not recognise my booking. This was really frustrating and sad to hear as I had travelled from far to the hotel in the middle of the night. I showed the person at reception my booking.com reservation and they said they couldn't help me. I had to persist by telling them that booking.com is recognised internationally by several hotels. They then managed to find my reservation after 30 minutes but said that booking.com did not synch with their systems, which made me really upset. They then called their colleague and confirmed that they can give me a room as per my reservation. The person at reception was very rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. They asked me a card for payment and then said that they cannot accept debit cards. In the UK it is common to use debit cards and it did not say anywhere in their terms and conditions that they cannot accept debit cards. After 30 minutes of arguing which resulted in me crying, they called their colleague and confirmed that they can accept the debit card provided that I pay a CAD 200 refundable deposit, which I did. It took 1 hour to gain access to a room that I had made a reservation for. I was so stressed and disturbed by the experience that I did not sleep the whole night. A horrible experience.

Do Indians Look 'STRANGE' to You..?! Its Quality Hotel & Suites Montreal East, at, 8100 av Neuville, Anjou, QC H1J 2T2. The Lady at the Reception Counter, whom We didnot ask name, was smart enough to Answer my Questions, but not fulfil 'Our Request' of NOT TO GIVE ROOM FACING HIGHWAY where there will be Vehicle Movement Sound. We been Given Room Number 303, Couldn't even Sleep properly for a few hours atleast due to heavy sound due to Vehicles movement over highway road..! Irony is that.., while I Requested about My room to be alloted/given 'not facing highway roadside', over the Reception Counter, the receiving lady, with a big smile she said pointing her hand and saying 'the room is on the otherway opposite to road facing where you dont get vehicles sound', but not highway road facing..! On the other hand we were tired enough travelling by flight and reaching this hotel destination; spent time sleepless night..! Do Indians/I Look so strange or look like 'taken for granted' to this Hotel Team though I even paid SECURITY DEPOSIT MONEY apart from My roomrent ..?!
