Great location away from the busy-ness of the city of Magog, but convenient to everything.

Lots of small groups of stairs to go back and forth to parking areas. I thought the room would be a little roomier.

I enjoyed my stay and all the facilites.

It was my second stay at the Cheribourg. I love it. The staff is always amazing and helpful. The rooms and facilities are clean. The playground room/ outdoor pool/ indoor pool, sauna, outdoor playground/ pedal boat station is great. My family loves this hotel!

I have no dislikes besides maybe that i didnt notice instructions on how to start the sauna but no problem, I figured it out with the help of the staff.

After booking they send an email mentionning that the check in will be between 4-6pm - However, on their website it is indicated that the check in is at 4pm and since the reservation is non refundable, there was nothing I could do. The amenities were not in good shape (kid's playground, pool, rooms) very old and not well maintained.

I appreciated all the kids activities and the fact they stay open late.

It feels quite old and would need some updates and Additional confort.

The hotel was clean.

1. A lot of the activities that were offered in the website are not available yet and there’s no warning anywhere. For example, the outside pool wasn’t available, the bicycles were in bad state and we asked for help to fix the wheels and no one wanted to help us. 2. We couldn’t use the other installations at manoir des sables because fiery, the guy from the golf shop was very rude and told us that beginners were not accepted to play. The renting for the boats and Kayaks were closed as well. 3. We asked in the front desk for both hotels, what activities they can recommend for us and any of them helped us, they didn’t have knowledge about what we could do in the town, besides the Mont-Orford Parc. I’m addition, no services of food were offered, neither breakfast or dinners at the place. Conclusion: there’s more offered in the website than what’s it’s really available, considering that you pay for a place that has everything “included” (activities).

The indoor pool and kids facilities.

Property wasn’t ready until well late in the evening around 6:30-7 PM which is unfortunate to have to pay that night when we didn’t even have access to our room. Upon arrival to the room the so called double bed as stated on the site (double family room with double sofa bed) was a single and most definitely could not fit my 2 teenagers in it.And the extra bed and bedding we had ordered was not there. Called the front desk and they had no more extra beds and were unsure what to do and braught us a foldable matress for the floor. Day 2 we got locked out at 9 PM as the lock died and had to wait on maintenance to come change the batteries while we waited outside with 5 kids. The room had an overall dinginess to it and could definitely use a deep clean and a couple of upgrades. The pool never had any towels and the spa water was a yellow tint.

location is perfect for going skiing. easy to find, incredible staff and very lovely. we were allowed to check in 25 min before check-in, amazing customer service. the heating was easy to control and sufficient, great shower water pressure. for the price it is a great place to stay and we will stay again.

it felt a tiny bit not clean enough, it could be the colour of tiles in the bathroom and the missing shower gel containers in the shower (we don’t use those so it’s not a big deal). i was a bit surprised our room was outside the main property (with all the amenities, so if we wanted to use the pool we would need to pack and dress for it), i could have missed the info about it tho. the pool and jacuzzi were full of kids (understandable, not a con, but happens considering it’s a family friendly place), bar and sauna were closed too.

We didn't eat breakfast, and the location was good. Staff was polite

The resort was tired, and since we arrived at night, needed more lighting and signage to find locatons (and I think the map is wrong?) The room with the desk was incredibly tight and not clear on both sides of the bed.

We ate at the restaurant and the food, as well as the waitress was exceptional.
