The size and comfort of our room was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The gym was very nice and the location was perfect for our needs, love that everything we needed and more was nearby.

The room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. There was splatter of some sort on the bathroom wall as well as toilet paper under the bathroom sink on the floor from whomever had stayed there prior. The bench under the television also had a substance on the seat so we were not able to use it. It would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast with our stay.

The property is very well maintained, very clean and comfortable for folks like me staying overnight for an early morning appointment at Stanford Medical. I had an assisted mobile device to walk and got to use a very pleasant hour at the hot tub with the hotel staff going out of their way to make sure I was doing ok. The best part was also the location, it is so close to Stanford Medical and within a few mins of good restaurants for dining.

There is no spa in the hotel. It would have been nice to have a full service spa on the premises to help people like me and our families who are visiting us at Stanford Medical get some therapeutic relief.

The location is great.

Over sold and under delivered. The free appetizers were minimal at best. Restaurant was across the parking lot at a neighboring property. The pool and hot tub were a letdown. The hot tub looked like it needs to be cleaned. Not really a 4 star property as advertised.

The hotel is conveniently located next door to Stanford University, a busy and trendy shopping area with a lot of excellent restaurants. It is also not too far from downtown Palo Alto. The staff is very friendly. The bar has an onsite Starbucks. The room rates are very reasonable. The fire pits by the swimming pool are a bonus feature. The thing I like the most is the little touches such as the free bottled water in the lobby, and snacks for me to take on the road.

Being a Westin hotel I expected a more complex and more beautiful building. It was only ok. The swimming pool was not that big.

Corner Room was much smaller than most corner rooms for other hotels especially considering I paid more for a corner room. Walls are very thin. Could easily hear conversations of room next door.
