The hotel is not staffed or designed to handle holiday crowds. It took too long to check in (1 staff member). The billing was/is confusing between deposits, pre-payments, and final actual billing. (I still have a pending charge on my card for one night that SHOULD be eliminated in the next few days. The elevators were slow. There was not enough seating at breakfast. The food selection was poor and they even ran out of some food items Sunday morning. The parking was expensive ($20/day) and VERY limited. I had to use a public parking facility that, luckily, was right next door and was $1/hr and had a $17/day maximum but you could not come/go whenever you wanted as your payment was tied to your parking spot number that someone else could take while you are away.

The staff was incredibly friendly. They were the best part of our stay and the main reason we would stay there again. The room rate was very reasonable for the area. Parts of the property were a little tired, but it was kept quite clean. The breakfast was pretty standard for a property of this sort.

One thing we had a bit of trouble with was the aroma of marijuana coming in through the AC system. It is legal there, but not where we live, so smelling that was the one bit of unpleasantness. The elevator was quite slow, but that wasn't hard to live with.

It was immaculately clean. Spotlessly clean. Extra towels. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided. Quiet. Friendly staff. comfy bed.
