Very clean, pleasantly surprised.

Little bag of goodies in the room (orange juice, water, trail mix etc was a pleasant surprise. Front desk staff were very nice.

The room contains zero chairs so bed is only place to sit. Pillows are like all other hotels - giant marshmallows that make my neck hurt. Smell of air freshener in room was overpowering on arrival.

Very dated. Checking in was a hassle. I dont have a visa, and they would not accept cash or my visa/debit for the $50 deposit, which is the card that I used to book the room. I had to get them to email a form to my mom. She had to print, scan, and email back. The whole check-in took over an hour. It was super annoying. I even offered to give them $300 cash or do a deposit on my card, and they refund after they check my room @ check-out. That's what the last four hotels have done. Anyway, it was frustrating at the end of the day and no other rooms available in Kamloops that night.

The bed was comfortable, convenient location

The second night of my stay the towels in the bathroom had been changed out but they didn’t make the bed, the third night no one had showed up to clean my room at all. I even checked to see if there was a sign I was supposed to leave on the door to get my room cleaned but there wasn’t one and not arriving back at my room until late each day there was no point at going back down to the front desk.

Location is great. The room was nice. Brought my mom for an appointment and my friend came. So we needed 3 beds and that's what we got.
